♡ Part 83: Dry ♡

TO SHIKAMARU

he made his way inside of the changerooms and made his way beside sasuke where his stuff resided

sasuke: let's get some amazake

shikamaru: what a drag

sasuke knew that was shikamaru's version of saying 'yes'.

once they finished their doings, shikamaru told sasuke to meet him outside of the changerooms because he had something to do. sasuke already had an idea of what he was going to do and most of the hockey players had already left anyways. the raven headed out and now, there were only 2 people left in the changerooms

shikamaru: i'll... call your bothersome phone later

the person who he was talking to froze but their back faced him

shikamaru: later

as he turned around to leave, he felt a presence approaching him and was now standing right behind him, perhaps a little too close. the nara could feel the body that was only a few centimeters away from his own and he sighed

hidan: why blow me off from walking together when you can blow me literally, right now, right here.

the nara felt himself feel a little sleepy

shikamaru: idiot

hidan chuckled as he watched the lazy boy leave the changerooms with slumped shoulders. what he didn't notice was the smirk that plastered shikamaru's lips. 

TO SASUKE

once he walked out, he noticed one thing only---- that being that naruto leaned against a wall with his hands holding onto his phone with eyes darted to it. he used his crutches as faint supports and sasuke stared at him for a few moments

'sakura isn't with him... hmph'

sasuke: hmph

the blonde shot his ocean eyes to the sound. 

naruto: .....

sasuke: .....

they didn't know how long this feud was going to go on for, but there was one thing that the two of them were sure of. 

this feud wouldn't end until they released all of their emotions

naruto: sasuke

sasuke: what?

naruto: you broke up with her and stopped talking to me.....

sasuke: why does that matter?

the blonde boy clenched his teeth

naruto: does that mean nothing to you?

sasuke would have retaliated, but it was right then where shikamaru walked out of the changerooms and stared at the two of them

naruto: nothing? 

he sighed and began to walk away from sasuke and shikamaru

naruto: y'know, i didn't think this would happen. you and i were---

sasuke: best friends, but you ruined that. 

naruto: and you were sakura's first boyfriend, but you ruined that. 

with that he left, leaving a bitter ambiance to swirl around shikamaru and sasuke. 

sasuke: tch

the raven shot his head down as he thought over naruto's words. 

sasuke: ....

shikamaru placed a hand onto his best friend's shoulder and motioned for them to take their leave. things were rattled up between sasuke and naruto more than shikamaru liked or let alone what anyone liked--- although as much as shikamaru wanted to step in, he knew he couldn't.
