♡ Part 82: Shikamaru And Sakura ♡

AFTER SCHOOL

TO NARUTO

he packed his things from his locker and headed right to his best friend's locker so that they could walk to the skating arena. as he made his way to her, he noticed her eyebrows were knitted together and it seemed like she had something on her mind

naruto: oi sakura-chan, let's walk to the arena together

he noticed the way she fixated her posture and smiled to him

sakura: sure

the pinkette closed her locker and the two of them began to head on their way to their desired destination. as they walked, an odd aura accompanied them   

naruto: so did you figure your topic out yet?

sakura stared down to their feet as they walked

sakura: i think so, but i'm still thinking

naruto: don't worry, you'll find out soon y'know. i just know it dattebayo!

before she could thank him, a specific raven walked past them with his hands dug deep into his pockets. the pinkette's expression slightly saddened

sakura: why don't you talk to him, naruto?

naruto: .....

TO SASUKE

he reached the arena and headed right to the change rooms. once he entered, he noticed the odd glances some of his teammates gave him. he made his way beside shikamaru and began to change

shikamaru: what a drag, i left my hockey stick at school.

sakura: you can use mine, i'm not practicing today

the uchiha rolled his eyes as he silently listened to them

shikamaru: thanks

kiba: why is she in the guy's change room?

it was right then where everyone realized that was going on. 

one girl, fourteen half naked boys and all in one change room. it was at that moment sasuke darted his eyes at her to see that she was already staring at him. she quickly turned on her heels and practically shot the door open to leave at once. 

everyone chuckled, including naruto but the only person who didn't was sasuke. 

once they all finished they headed out and went onto the rink where they began to practice. 

kakashi: team 1 consists of shikamaru, hidan, neji, sasori, kakuzu, deidara and sasuke. team 2 consists of lee, naruto, kiba, suigetsu, jugo, chouji and sai. get on separate ends and we'll begin the matches in 5 minutes

they did as they were told and kakashi and sakura made their way to the rim of the rink

sakura: kakashi...?

her voice was low in volume, but kakashi could hear her loud and clear

sakura: i'm writing my poem for english class, and i think i have an idea on what i'll write about

kakashi: is that so? well, what did you decide on

the two of them stood side by side with their attention darted towards the strategizing hockey players. sakura subconsciously looked over to naruto and then over to sasuke

sakura: hockey

for a second, kakashi thought that she was joking. but he knew her better than that so he narrowed his eyes and peered down to her from the side
