TO SASUKE

he walked outside as he stared up at the gentle grey sky. it was still lightly snowing and he forgot to bring his jacket out

'hmph whatever'

he leaned against the wall and just watched the snow gently take it's place on the floor and leafless trees

shikamaru: what a troublesome lunch

sasuke turned his head to see shikamaru chuckle as he walked over to the raven haired boy. shikamaru took out a pack of pocky and offered some to his best friend. sasuke silently took one and then shifted his gaze back up to the sky

sasuke: why does she have to argue with me, what did i do to her

shikamaru: it's not that. she got mad at you because you defended karin

sasuke: what did karin even do. neji broke up with tenten because he probably found new feelings. what's so wrong with that

shikamaru: once again, you're wrong. ino was mad because she knows how you and karin were. she knows that karin kissed you that one time before hockey practice and then kissed again at the party. she's knows it all. it's just that she doesn't want sakura to get hurt because you just defending her can ruin a lot. it wasn't about tenten anymore the moment you decided to be bothersome

sasuke: sakura didn't even defend me

shikamaru: she couldn't defend you because ino was right. 

sasuke looked at shikamaru who seemed as if he wasn't joking. he actually seemed pretty serious

shikamaru: listen. you have a girlfriend now. sakura would do anything for you and you know it. so when she tells you to calm down, she's not rejecting your opinion, she's just trying to make all of you be quiet and talk things out instead of yelling. you know her better than i do, she would never disregard your opinion. ino, who is also your girlfriends best friend was only trying to defend her friends but then you decided to.... be bothersome

sasuke looked down. his best friend was right. he was being childish and he had no place in arguing against ino. 

shikamaru: you should apologize

sasuke: hmph

they went inside to see everyone still sitting there. they took their seats and sakura smiled at the calm sasuke. he looked at her and smiled as well but then looked at ino

sasuke: -mumbling- sorry ino

ino looked at him confused

sasuke: sorry ino

ino smirked and rested her chin on the palm of her hand as they rested on the table

ino: you know, i barely ever hear you apologize 

she chuckled

sasuke: hmph

their lunch break soon finished and they were all headed to tsunade's class. sasuke watched sakura walk alongside with ino, hinata and tenten. 

naruto: instead of staring at her, you should talk to her y'know

shikamaru: i don't think he wants to admit he's wrong

they chuckle as sasuke scoffed

AFTER SCHOOL

TO SAKURA

everyone went to their lockers and packed their things for the winter break. everyone seemed generally happy that they finally got a break from school. the pinkette was at her locker while packing until she felt someones arms wrap around her shoulder area. she looked behind her to see sasuke gently smiling at her.
