♡ Part 29: surprise visit ♡

NEXT DAY (October 23rd)

sasuke and sakura decided to leave a lot earlier in the morning because sasuke wanted to take her somewhere although she still didn't know where.

sakura: how far are we?

sasuke smiled

sasuke: we're near

they got to a trail and he signaled her to go with him. as they walked, the atmosphere changed around them. they talked and smiled together... but got a little too carried away

sasuke: that's why i--- crap!

he slipped but sakura quickly caught him. a small tint of pink appeared onto his cheeks as he felt a bit embarrassed. He quickly and steadily got back on his feet with a look filled with mortification 

sasuke: uh sorry

she smiled and looked in front of her, but then she couldn't believe her eyes. 

sakura: this is... wow

sasuke smiled knowing that this would amaze her. it was October and so the red, yellow and orange leaves were everywhere. although this place was a bit different. the trees were very large and there was a single wooden swing

sasuke quickly walked over to the swing 

sasuke: when you and naruto used to play in the piles of leaves when we were younger, i would come here with big brother itachi

she smiled and walked towards the swing. he signaled her to sit and so she did

sakura: this place is so pretty

sasuke: in the spring it's even better

she began swinging herself and let her feet graze against the leaves that were on the floor. silence filled the air but it didn't feel like it

sakura: how did you find this place

sasuke awkwardly smiled. 

sasuke: i tried running from home and while running, i found this place

sakura looked at him oddly

sasuke: yeah.... i know. 

sakura: why did you try

sasuke: my brother broke my toy shuriken

her serious face turned into a smiley one after hearing what he said. she let out a small chuckle but then burst out into laughter

they spent more time together and they completely lost track of time

TO NARUTO

he sat in the classroom waiting for his best friends to come. he took his phone and started playing a game until the door opened. his gaze landed at the door to only see his cousin staring at him

sasori:...

he walked pass him and sat down

naruto: you know i'm your cousin right

sasori: but you're his friend

naruto: and hers too

sasori slammed his bag onto the floor and stopped talking to his cousin. it was bad enough that the whole school knew, but now his aunt kushina grounded him. she is one scary person when mad

silence filled the air and naruto turned back around. class soon started but there was still no sign of sasuke or sakura. naruto looked at kakashi but he seemed confused as he did

kakashi: any chance you guys have seen sakura or sasuke

ino: i thi--

the raven haired boy barge in with the pinkette, catching everyones attention. kakashi sighed
