♡ Part 24: cold shoulder ♡

NEXT DAY (October 21st)

TO SASUKE

he woke up and felt a little bit more energized than he usually does. he got out of his bed and started getting ready to leave.

itachi: i made you breakfast

sasuke smiled and ate with his big brother. after awhile, he left and headed towards school

TO NARUTO

naruto: o-okay mom

kushina: now you listen, minato and i will be there so you better say hi y'know

naruto put a piece of bread into his mouth and quickly headed out

minato: try your best naruto

kushina: naru-

he left and excitedly headed to school

kushina: that boy. you know minato, if you're not strict enough, he might go crazy

minato chuckled and wrapped his arms around his wife

minato: don't worry kushina, our son won't. believe it

TO SAKURA

she decided that she would wear kakashi's hockey jersey the whole day to show his team some support

kakashi: here's your lunch

sakura: thank you kakashi

she quickly kissed his cheek and ran out. he hasn't seen her this excited in awhile but he was glad to see her like that. As he watched her close the front door, his gaze traveled to a photo of himself, sakura and her parents that sat on a table

'i hope you know....she is doing fine'

she quickly got to school and saw sasuke and naruto already there. as she walked towards them, sasuke noticed what she was wearing and he smiled. 

sasuke: already?

naruto: hm? ah i forgot mine at home!

he quickly ran away as he went back home to get his hockey jersey. the two of them chuckle and stand beside each other while leaning against the wall.

sakura: aren't you excited

sasuke: hmph, yeah

sakura: is big brother itachi coming?

sasuke smile to himself as the thought of itachi brought him joy. he genuinely loved his big brother

sasuke: yeah he's coming

sakura sighed and looked up

sakura: i wonder how it would've been like if i had a brother or sister

sasuke looked at her with frightening eyes

sasuke: it's the worst thing you'll have to experience

she looked at him confused and he chuckled. he was only kidding. shikamaru and ino got there as well and ino smiled at the pair

ino: i guess we shouldn't be here

sakura: no it's fine

sasuke looked at her and then looked away

shikamaru: did kakashi sensei mention how many classes we'll be going to

ino: what do you mean?

shikamaru: the game starts at 7 but the players need to be there by 6. and i know kakashi said something about practicing today but it'll be too much if we do that all after school
