♡ Part 32: who did he find? ♡

they all internally face palmed themselves but before sakura could hit naruto, the bell rang

'that lucky dweeb'

they all headed to their lockers and soon to class

TO SHIKAMARU

the lazy boy was at his locker and while doing his own thing, temari walked up to him and smiled. he looked at her and forced a smile onto his lips

temari: so my party is tomorrow, and um are you coming

she looked down as she felt herself lightly blush

shikamaru: it's gonna be a drag but yeah i'll be there

she chuckled and looked back up at him

temari: well i'm going to class, wanna walk with me?

shikamaru awkwardly scratched the back of his head

shikamaru: i'll meet you there in a bit

she nodded her head and left. ino quickly hit the back of his head

ino: nice going loser. and you can be a little more nicer to her

shikamaru closed his locker

shikamaru: yeah i know, but i don't want her to like me

'not when i like someone else...'

ino: i get the feeling you like someone but i just don't know who

shikamaru: love is too troublesome for me

he left and she chuckled as she watched him walk away

TO SAKURA

sakura: no naruto, like this

she was showing him how to figure out an equation because today they had a test for math. kakashi being the lazy man he is, forgot to tell the students that they had a test today and so he told them yesterday which caused commotion in his own classroom.

sasuke chuckled

naruto: what are you laughing at!

sasuke: you, dobe

sakura smiled and continued tutoring her hopeless best friend. soon after, kakashi and the rest came in and they started their test. it was generally easy but sakura and sasuke could hear the little sighs from naruto throughout the test. after awhile, kakashi collected their tests and they all headed to their other class

LUNCH

TO SASUKE

they all sat at their table and talked with each other.

ino: sai and i are gonna be matching

naruto wrapped his arm around sakura

naruto: sakura, sasuke and i are gonna be matching

shikamaru got up and left to his usual spot. he took out a cigarette and lit it up although sasuke came out after him

sasuke: .....

he silently stood beside his best friend. there was nothing that he could say to help shikamaru, but he knew that the mere existence of his best friend beside him was enough to reassure shikamaru that he was here for him. although shikamaru broke the silence as he sighed

shikamaru: karin told you she loves you right?

sasuke nodded his head
