♡ Part 38: broke a promise ♡

NEXT DAY (November 4th)

TO SASUKE

he got to class and took his seat. the atmosphere seemed a little different but he couldn't pinpoint what. naruto came in although he was alone. he took a seat beside the raven haired boy silently and avoided sasuke's gaze. The raven frowned

sasuke: where's sakura

naruto: she's not coming to school... today

sasuke looked at naruto oddly

sasuke: is this beca---

naruto looked at sasuke into his eyes and sasuke noticed that his best friends eyes were swollen

sasuke: were you crying?

naruto looked down 

naruto: let's not talk about it right now y'know

sasuke stared at his best friend wondering what was going on. he was clearly upset but he wasn't talking about it. which is weird because naruto practically wears his feelings on his sleeve. he would always say what troubles him but this time he didn't

class started. although to his own surprise, kakashi seemed even more out of it than he usually does. he usually seems uninterested in everything but today he seemed uninterested and sad. 

TO KUSHINA

she came to her living room and brought some tea for her husband minato and her lovely guest. she sat down next to her guest and held her hands

kushina: are you sure sakura? it'll be a large change

sakura looked into kushinas eyes and felt sadness grow

minato: it must be hard. the things he said were out of line, but sakura, there are others who love and care for you. naruto cried his eyes out this morning once we told him the news.... many people will be upset

kushina: he's right. but also, kakashi will be affected the most...

sakura: i know. but my parents told me things for a reason, and they seem to be right. Ever since i started disobeying what they've told me, I've been.....um...

kushina sadly looked at the pinkette knowing how much she must be hurting. she hugged her

kushina: it's up to you... but are you sure

sakura nodded her head and they began the process. as kushina and minato explained to her how it'll happen, she felt pain in her chest

minato: you're fine taking a plane alone, right?

she nodded her head

kushina: i think you should tell your parents that you're going to them

sakura: i'll let them know a little later

kushina nodded her head and they spent the rest of their day together. the three of them watched movies and ate together as they knew it would be one of their last times that they would be able to do this. minato and kushina always thought of sakura as their daughter and so this was going to be a big change for them aswell. they've practically taken care of her since she was a baby. 

TO SASUKE

the school day finally finished and naruto went to hockey practice. sasuke went to the doctors to get his wrist checked up. although he would've forgotten if naruto hadn't told him. 

doctor: it's healing nicely. 2 weeks from today you should come again

sasuke nodded his head and the doctor left
