♡ Part 7: entered at the right time ♡

sakura: everything...

sasuke: what do you mean

sakura: it's nothing really...

sasuke: you mean the fact that you're really short and don't ever look where you're going

he chuckled but she looked at him with a straight face.  he realize that she was being serious. but as they stared at each other, he oddly smiled and cause her to smile too

she gently chuckled and then looked the other way

sasuke: you're not sad... and now you can tell me

sakura realized that by surprise... he somewhat actually cared. she knew he wouldn't leave her alone about this and so she decided she should just say it

sakura: i don't know if i'll go to the party

sasuke looked at her oddly

sasuke: why

sakura: i just.... don't feel comfortable at parties like that. and i'll be alone most of the time because ino will be partying and i'll be there standing alone

sasuke: what about hinata and naruto

sakura: naruto will be with the boys and hinata never comes to these kind of things

sasuke: then.... i'll hang out with you

she looked up at him and he awkwardly smile

sasuke: it'll be the worst time of my life but it's fine.... 

sakura: oh please, i'd rather hang out with karin than with yo-

she quickly stopped talking once she realized what she said. 

sakura: i'm sor-

sasuke: hmph it's fine.....

sakura: .....

sasuke: but are you coming or not

sakura:.....

she didn't know if she'll go or not. her and sasuke newly became friends and so far, he's either being shy and nice, or being the meanest person she knows. 

sakura: sure

 he smiled and so did she

sasuke pulled his phone out and started texting someone

sakura: so i-

she then got a text message

sasuke: check it

sakura pulled her phone out and saw the message

sasuke: practice tomorrow is at the ice rink

sakura: you couldn't tell me in person?

sasuke: nope..

sakura looked up and realized she was infront of her house

sakura: i live here...

she walked up to her doorstep and sasuke stared at her

sakura: i guess i'll see you tomorrow

sasuke nodded and left without saying bye. he chuckle knowing it would bother her

.....

after he reached his home, he changed into a pair of grey sweats and walked downstairs

itachi: sasuke come here

sasuke went to his older brother and stood before him

itachi: i was driving and i saw you walking with the pink haired girl 

sasuke: .....i um

itachi: do you like her?

sasuke felt a random feeling of annoyance

sasuke: why does everyone ask me that.... i never said i liked her. it's normal for other guys to talk and hang out with girls but the moment i do it, it's the most absurd thing ever? really? she's just a girl.... i didn't even do anything to show i like her!

silence filled the air and he realized what he said and the way he spoke to his brother

itachi: you clearly have a lot to say about her

sasuke sat down beside itachi. he sighed and he really had to let it out

sasuke: she's the only girl who i say is my friend. but i don't think it's such a big deal. why does everyone think it's a big thing.... and karin is mad at me cause of that

itachi: oh.... so the problem isn't sakura, it's karin

sasuke looked down

sasuke: i just... nevermind

itachi sighed and looked directly at sasuke

itachi: i know you're not used to showing your feelings... but you can talk to me sasuke. you can. i know you can

sasuke: -sigh- i don't know how i feel about karin or even sakura. karin... she talks to me and tries to make me smile.... sakura and i talk to each other and we make each other laugh and make fun of each other a lot. 

itachi: the way you explained each of them shows how you feel about them.... i'm not you so i can't make the final decision of how you feel, but i think sakura has entered your life at the right time

sasuke: ....

itachi: she's making you realize a few things.... and i've notice that since you started talking to her... you've been more open.

sasuke thought about it and he realized it too. before he'd never open up like this, and frankly, he wouldn't even talk as much as he is right now

sasuke: what does that mean

itachi got up

itachi: i don't know.... but you'll realize what it means when the times right. anyways i have to go somewhere. the house is yours

sasuke nodded his head and his brother left him alone. he really thought about what his brother had to say to him and it really made him think. 

NEXT DAY ( October 10th)

sasuke woke up and decided to wear something a little different than usual. he did his morning routine and then it came to the time to wear his clothes. he took out a pair of black sweatpants, a black sweater and a dark blue oversized t shirt and wore that over his sweater. he wore it and felt a bit odd but decided it'd be okay

he left for school and began his day. 

AFTER SCHOOL

he finished packing and looked for sakuras locker. he saw her but she was with naruto. he walked over to them and naruto smiled widely

naruto: hey teme! it's our first practice with sakura at the rink

sasuke: that's only if she doesn't chicken out and sit at the bench again

the boys laugh and high five each other

sakura: hah..hah..aha... so funny. but sasuke, you'll most likely get body checked by shikamaru again so if i were you, i'd be worried about your rep.

 naruto laughed and sasuke looked at him

sasuke: who's side are you even on naruto

naruto: neither anyways i gotta go... you guys walk to the rink yourselves

he quickly ran away

sakura: let's go

sasuke: hmph
