♡ Part 19: alone time ♡

naruto: r-right sasuke?

sasuke: whatever

sakura cleared her throat

sakura: ok let's go 

they started walking and this is where it began...

sasuke: so do you like hockey, tomato head?

sasori: tomato head?

sasuke smirked

sasuke: if you can't take it, then leave

sasori: ok loser..... but yeah i love hockey. and actually, kakashi- sensei let me become a player for the schools team and he told me that you and naruto are on the team. and that sakura practices with you guys

naruto: huh? sakura, did sensei tell you this?

sakura: no he didn't... when i get home i'm gonna kill him

sasori: how, you guys don't live with each other

sasuke: hmph....

sasori's eyes widened

sasori: wait you do?

sakura chuckled

sakura: yeah i live with him. he's like my second dad

sasori: so where are your parents, i should say hi to them

sakura looked back down and felt an ache in her heart

'my parents.... sasuke.....'

sasuke looked at her and knew she couldn't say it herself

sasuke: they aren't in the country, they haven't been for the past 5 years

sasori: wow... a lot happened since i left.

sasori anxiously tried putting his arm around her until sasuke swiftly pushed it away. sasori chuckled and put his hands into his pockets

sakura: ok well this is my place.... bye guys

the boys said bye to her and they left. the three of them had some bad blood, no it was more so sasuke and sasori that had unknown problems with each other

naruto: well i'm home... bye guys

he quickly ran inside. he closed the door and breathed heavily.

then remained sasuke and sasori

sasori: let's keeping going, sasuke

sasuke and sasori kept walking and silence filled the air, until sasuke felt the slightest bit a guilt

sasuke: naruto told me about your friendship with sakura

sasori: yeah.... but you clearly don't like it

sasuke: tsk... no.

sasori: did i do something to make you hate me i already?

sasuke: i don't hate you, i just don't like you

sasori chuckled

sasori: i'm surprised she became friends with you of all people.

sasuke: shut up tomato head

sasuke walked up to his doorstep and didn't look back once at sasori. the red headed boy walked home alone after that. he genuinely didn't understand why sasuke acted the way he did. but he just shrugged those thoughts off and continued walking

NEXT DAY (October 17th)

TO SASUKE

he got to the school grounds and saw sasori and sakura already there. they were happy, laughing and talking to each other. 

'.....'

sasuke walked over to them and made eye contact with sakura only. she smiled at him

sakura: you're here sasuke! great

sasori: hey sasuke

sasuke: hn

sakura: okay you don't need to be so cold to each other y'know

sasori: i said hi to him, he's the one being rude

sakura: c'mon sasuke

sasuke: i don't know him, how can i be nice

sakura: then get to know him!

she hit the back of his head and he hist in pain

naruto: sakura-chan, i got the pocky

her mad face turned into a cute little girls face once she saw the pocky. both sasori and sasuke looked at her face glow up as she walked towards naruto. and then, sasuke realized that he must be giving her a hard time. but he couldn't help himself but to be the person he is. 

naruto: -low voice- are the two of the still fighting

sakura: yeah, help me

naruto: ok guys i have pocky for everyone, no more fighting

they all got together and ate pocky. and frankly, that calmed both of them down. sakura chuckled

sakura: who knew that pocky would calm you guys down

sasuke smiled to himself. 

sasori: we have practice today right?

sakura: yep. and i can't wait for it

shikamaru and ino walked up to them. ino looking very energetic but shikamaru still with the lazy look. and he looked the most lazy he ever has looked. sakura went up to ino and grabbed her arm

sakura: bye guys

sasori/sasuke: bye

they looked at each other and then looked away

shikamaru: what a drag

TO SAKURA

ino: sakura, why did you leave?

sakura: sasori and sasuke are always fighting

ino chuckle

ino: seems like it's a love triangle

sakura: i doubt it

the bell rang and they all headed to class but while doing so, the pinkette saw sasuke walking alone and so she decided to go to him

sakura: i never knew you could be as cold as you are

sasuke: hmph

he smiled and looked at her

sasuke: short stack

she looked up at him and faced each other. they just stared at each other and smiles landed on both of their lips and then they finally both started walking again. and then it hit her, sasuke must be acting the way he is because she isn't spending alone time with him and so she decided it would be good to spend some time with him alone today.

they went into their class and saw sasori and ino

sasuke sat down infront of sasori and she sat down beside the raven haired boy. he noticed and smiled to himself

the rest of the students started coming in and finally kakashi. the class started and they all got to work. although sakura decided to wright sasuke a little note. she gave it to him and he looked at her oddly and opened the small paper

"meet me outside our homeroom class at lunch"

he looked at her and she smiled. 

class finished and the day continued. all sasuke could think about what the note. he kept it in his pocket for the rest of the day. the bell finally rang indicating that it's lunch. they all went to their lockers and sasuke groaned. he forgot his lunch at home

'whatever....'

he walked towards his homeroom class and saw sakura sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall. she looked at him and smiled. he sat down close beside her and she sighed, but it was more so the sigh of exhaustion.

sakura took out her sandwich and opened it, but realized sasuke didn't have lunch

sakura: want some....?
