NEXT DAY (January 6th)

sakura sighed as she walked to school along side shikamaru. shikamaru took a quick glance at her to see her troubled face

shikamaru: he'll figure it out, don't worry

sakura: but yesterday.....

shikamaru: i know

they sighed in unison once they both began to remember what happened the day before

FLASHBACK

kiba: oh i'm in. i was thinking of other jobs but this sounds so much better

suigetsu: oh please kiba this is the only job that you could do anyways with your useless ass

kiba: what was that?!

suigetsu: i'm kidding. but the team wouldn't be as good without you anyways so we need you

kiba glared at suigetsu for a brief moment before turning his head back to their coach 

kakashi: the thing is, if i accept the offer, i won't be teaching all of you next year because i would have to leave this job. however the school's team would be disbanded but we would still practice like usual out of school, like how we do now. 

naruto: wait but that means you won't be our homeroom

kakashi: that's right

lee: so then who would our homeroom be?

kakashi: i don't know, maybe anko-sensei

the group all groaned but soon their faces began to show frightened expressions at the thought of that teacher becoming their homeroom. she was... loud.... and pervy

choji: i mean it's only one year and we'll all be practicing anyways so i think it's fine

kakashi: our practices will be longer and more intense because now you'll all be representing the whole nation. not only that, i will have to bring in some new players because we're not enough

sakura took a quick glance over to sasuke to see that his gaze was fixed onto the floor

kakashi: is there anyone who doesn't want to? just a reminder that this is going to be your career...

sasuke raised his hand and the hockey players gasped while sakura stared at him with utter confusion and surprise

sasuke: i need more time to think

kakashi: the class' resumes are due to me this friday sasuke, you only have 3 more days to think

sasuke: i'll give you my answer this friday

kakashi sighed and nodded. naruto shot sasuke a glance to see that he was actually being serious

kakashi: anyways for the rest of you, for your resumes, just put down everything i told you just now

they all nodded

kakashi: let's start practice then

sakura: sasuke....

sasuke: sakura, i need time

he walked away from her without saying anything else. naruto followed sasuke while shikamaru walked up to sakura

shikamaru: .....let's start

sakura: okay...

herself and shikamaru began to practice but sasuke's random behavior really got to sakura

END FLASHBACK

sakura: what could he be thinking? he said it himself that he was unsure of what he wanted to do, but now that he has an offer he isn't taking it. he loves hockey, i don't understand
