♡ Part 18: old memories ♡

NEXT DAY (October 16th)

TO SAKURA

she got to school and saw that shikamaru was there alone.... smoking. she went up to him and a lazy smile appeared onto his lips

shikamaru: hey sakura.

he took the cigarette out of his mouth and she looked at him a bit worried

sakura: are you sure you wanna smoke?

shikamaru: honestly life is so troublesome right now.

he dropped his head and sighed

shikamaru: i need a girlfriend, but relationships are such a drag

she chuckled and stood beside him

sakura: we have a new person coming into our homeroom class, but i don't know who it is yet

shikamaru: i just hope it's not another temari

sakura: but she likes you

shikamaru: i know... but i'm not sure if i like her back

sakura: oh....

sasuke: what are you guys talking about

they turned their gaze to the raven haired boy.

sakura: his sad love life

sasuke chuckled

shikamaru: oh please sasuke, you're more troublesome than i am

sasuke: yeah yeah

they talked and soon after, the bell rang and yet another day of high school started. although sakura didn't know what to expect, but she didn't know what was coming for her

they got to class and took their seats. kakashi came in and and stood by his desk

kakashi: we have a new student, he transferred from kumogakure's high school. 

the boy walked in and he stood before the class. although sakura couldn't believe her eyes and neither could ino, naruto or hinata

sasori: i'm sasori uzumaki, nice to meet you all

sakura's eyes widened but he didn't seem to notice her. 

kakashi: you may sit beside sasuke

sasuke stood up and sasori walked over to him. he walked pass sakura without sharing one glance with her. he sat beside sasuke which just so happened to be behind sakura. naruto looked at the pinkette and she looked at him..... he could tell she was just as confused as he was

the class continued and it was finally the ending of their class. the students started packing up and leaving

sasori: sakura haruno...

sasuke, naruto, shikamaru, ino and hinata looked at the red haired boy and the pinkette. though sasuke seemed most confused of them all. sakura didn't turn around to look at him but once she did, sasori gently smiled

sasori: it's been awhile.... and you've clearly made a lot of friends.

he looked around at the people who were just standing there

ino: well sasori, it's been awhile. you look the same

sasori: it's been awhile, ino

hinata: welcome back s-sasori-san

sasori: thank you hinata

sasuke whispered to naruto

sasuke: who is this kid
