♡ Part 97: Shikamaru and Temari's dynamics ♡

AFTER SCHOOL

TO SASUKE

neji: you'll come, right?

the lavender-eyed boy hugged his girlfriend and the latter chuckled

tenten: yep! i'll be the first one there

the brunette kissed his girlfriend's cheek and watched her leave with her friends. 

naruto: c'mon neji, kiss me too!

all neji did was scoff and continue to pack his things. the blonde playfully pouted and sai approached with a smile

sai: i'll kiss you

there was a moment of silence for naruto to gather up the disgusted feeling that erupted from his stomach and barf it out onto the floor. the hockey players groaned from the scene and moved away from the uzumaki. he quickly searched through his bag for a few mints. 

sai: no kiss?

naruto: shut up!

sasuke smirked and slung his hockey bag over his shoulder

shikamaru: should we go?

sasuke: .....

he eyed naruto for a moment before nodding and leaving with shikamaru. 

he wasn't going to stay for when sasori would come and beat naruto up for barfing on the floor. 

TO KAKASHI

kakashi: i see

the door to his classroom opened and revealed 2 of his players. he motioned for them to come inside and he continued to speak over the phone with someone

kakashi: as long as you're happy then i'm okay with that. are you sure? 

there was a pause

kakashi: okay, i'll see you when we finish. bye

he ended the call he was on with a sigh

shikamaru: girlfriend? never thought i'd see the day

sasuke and shikamaru fist bumped while kakashi's expression never wavered

kakashi: it was sakura, she said she's not coming to the tournament. 

sasuke's world stopped

shikamaru: ...dammit

the masked man smiled

kakashi: she told me about what you told her, thanks for saying that to her. 

shikamaru: i didn't think she'd not come to the tournament because of what i said. 

kakashi: no it's fine, she had to know. i'm glad it was from you because i know you two are close

shikamaru: is she mad at me?

kakashi's smile widened

kakashi: not one bit. 

sasuke stared down to the floor with a scrutinizing eye. how could she miss something like this? she would never. how was he going to focus on the game when all he would be thinking about is the fact that there will be an empty seat where sakura was supposed to sit, but wasn't going to be there. 

sasuke: hmph

he smirked and shikamaru cocked a brow

shikamaru: what a drag

suigetsu: what did you eat this morning, a roach? 

naruto: shut up. 

the trio's eyes shot to the door and it revealed the other members of their team. shikamaru met gazes with a specific silver haired boy and right then he quickly averted his eyes elsewhere.
