SAME DAY (October 7th)
TO SAKURA
she walked to her homeroom class with her friends. they took their seats and waited for their sensei to arrive
naruto and the boys came in and took their seats aswell. naruto took a seat next to sakura and smiled at her
naruto: your first practice is today after school in the gym
she smiled at him
sakura: thanks naruto
he stared at her feeling butterflies in his stomach go crazy
sasuke sat behind them and kept his eye on them. he didn't know what it was, but something seemed off about this, off about their friendship.
and then it hit him
'he likes her.....naruto likes her...'
he chuckled to himself. even though narutos always portrayed strong feelings for her, sasuke never seemed to pay attention until now, it was rather amusing to see. naruto turned around to face his best friend
naruto: what are you laughing about teme?
sasuke: ...nothing
naruto was about to hit sasuke until their sensei walked in
Kakashi: okay settle down
the class began and they started their work
kakashi: has anyone seen Karin?
sasuke looked up
suigetsu: probably snooping through garba--
kakashi: enough suigetsu... but really does anyo--
someone quickly ran into the classroom breathing heavily. her red hair covering her face, her red glasses in her hands and little pants coming from her exhausted figure
karin: i'm h-here kakashi s-sensei
kakashi sighed and looked at her with a tired look
kakashi: take a seat karin
she walked towards the desk beside sakura
sasuke stared at her. he felt his heart flutter and his cheeks felt hotter.
shikamaru: sasuke....
sasuke looked at shikamaru and weirdly smiled
sasuke: sorry, hmph
shikamaru: what a drag
sasuke smiled and their day continued.
AFTER SCHOOL
TO SASUKE
he heard naruto yelling from the other side of the hall
naruto: sakura-chan this is gonna be fun
sakura: yeah
they went to sasuke and the other boys
naruto: guys, you already know sakura.... you're all friends with her except for sasuke
neji: it's not that surprising that they aren't friends
choji: he isn't friends with any girl
the boys laugh
sasuke turns around
sasuke: let's go meet coach kakashi
they all head towards the gym together. while walking, the boys were explaining to sakura their schedules and other stuff about the team
