♡ Part 27: more than a regular friendship ♡

kushina: well, sometime would be great y'know

sakura nodded her head and kakashi walked over to her. the two of them greeted each other and kushina left to her family. itachi and sasuke also came to the pinkette

itachi: i hope you don't mind the fact that sasuke will be staying over 

kakashi: i don't mind at all... it's certainly been awhile since i've seen you itachi

itachi: you're right sensei... but i have to take my leave. i'll drop your stuff off later sasuke

he nodded his head and they saw sasori take his leave aswell. sakura stared at him as he left. 

kakashi: i didn't bring my car. let's take a taxi

they got outside and took a taxi back to their home. as sasuke tried getting out of the car, the pain around his body activated and he tried pulling it off but he couldn't bare the pain. sakura quickly helped him out.

they went inside and sakura sighed

sakura: what a day

kakashi: i need to take a bath... you can handle figuring things out with sasuke right?

she smiled and nodded her head

he quickly kissed her cheek and left. the pinkette helped sasuke get to the living room

sasuke: you know i thought the first time that i would ever sleep over at your place would be for fun... not this

sakura: me too

sasuke: and it's weird seeing my sensei kiss you on the cheek

sakura chuckled

sakura: well get used to it

they sat down and talked for a bit but then sakura decided to talk to him about the incident

sakura: uh sasuke.... why did you fight him

sasuke: hold on sakura... i didn't start anything

sakura: i know... but did something happen before that

sasuke didn't know if he should tell her about the things that he said... but there is one thing that naruto and shikamaru taught him, there has to be honesty if you want something more than a regular friendship

sasuke: when the other team was ahead of us, sasori told me that it was my fault that we're losing and that i'm the reason why he's losing you

her eyes widened and she dropped her head. 

'why sasori....'

sasuke: but then i asked him about what he said and then he attacked me.

sakura: i see

kakashi came out and used a towel to dry his hair

sasuke: i'm sorry kakashi sensei

kakashi looked at sasuke and smiled

kakashi: i'm not actually mad at you. i know it wasn't your fault

sasuke: so why is he still on the team

sakura: sas--

kakashi: i didn't want things to end like that for him. the fight was more of a personal thing than it was hockey related

sasuke: sakura told you?

kakashi: i caught on myself

he nodded and sasuke turned back to sakura. time passed by and they decided to fall asleep. she took him to her room and he stood there as he observed his surroundings.
