"But they came back." I ended

"The memory is still clear in my mind." Taecyeon said as he looked at me a fear I had never seen in his eyes

"Namjoon broke the gate open and everyone gaped at him. Their clothes were ripped, bloody and face dark. No one stopped them and Jay Park when he saw their bites, ordered people to kill them. However, no one listened to him, because despite the red eyes, they looked perfectly sane."

I took a deep breathe. That was the time they got bitten. I always wondered how they had been so close with their bites: but each of them had a day of the week. Jungkook was bitten on the seventh day, Taehyung the sixth, Jimin the fifth and until Monday were Jin was bitten first. I shivered.

"I don't know what they experienced inside the factory, but we went there later to check." Chansung looked at me his eyes haunted "There was not a single undead standing El. Not one. The smell of burning rotten flesh and blood were the only one present." He added

"Jay Park was judged by Rebel Town's folks along with us since we were on the same team. No one believed we had no idea of what was going on except...except Namjoon." Nichkun croaked "He saved us. But our life had a price. We were the one to hand Jay to the Undead. Unarmed." He ended "Jay tried to put the blame on Jun K, but it didn't work though."

My eyes zoned on Jun K who had clenched his jaw. I wondered how that must have felt: such a betrayal and then...

"We were banished." Nichkun sighed "Swearing our loyalty to Rebel Town, we are still the one assuring patrols and such. Given food if necessary in the hard times. Going in the most difficult rescue missions. But Namjoon left us this place. He told us about it once he closed the gate on us." He added

Registering all the information I had just heard made me wonder how smart Namjoon was actually. Notwithstanding the fact that the love for his brothers was perhaps changing his point of view sometimes.

"Do you know how they survived?" I asked Jun K

"They fought. Against almost a 1000 undead."

The number made my breath hitch as I realized how strong the men were actually. Jin must have reminded Nichkun of the fact that if the 6 of them were alive, it was only for one reason. Namjoon. That's why no one went against Namjoon's orders.

"Ready?" Nichkun asked as we stepped out of the library

I was nervous to set a foot outside of the warmth of the place I had just stayed a week into.

"As ready as I can be." I whispered anxiety clear in my voice

"If you get protected by them, you will be fine." Nichkun whispered "Moreover, you're more than welcome to come here again. I'm sure Junho will keep your mattress on the second floor as tidy as you did." He chuckled

A comfortable silence embraced us as I looked into the starry sky.

"Thanks Nichkun. For telling me the story of Dark Quarter." I added

"As their soulmate, you had the right to know. One day, they'll maybe tell you about that day in the factory." He mumbled the last part

"I wonder." I hinted with a sad smile.

We were just starting to know each other and to trust each other. I brought them enough problem as it is. The vrooming sound of the bike had me raise my head as Yoongi took of his helmet. Giving a nod to Nichkun, he grabbed my backpack not reacting at all at how heavy it was.
