Chase's POV:

Chase woke up early the next morning not getting much sleep.     He looked down seeing Jossalyn sprawled crossed his chest after their many romps between the sheets being the reason why.     The sunlight shined off her engagement ring and he smiled remembering after winning the most converted race of his career he proposed to her and she said yes.

He shifted and felt her stir she then looked up at him locking eyes.

"Good morning baby." Jossalyn says groggily.

"Good morning beautiful." Chase says.

"What time is it?" Jossalyn asks.

"7:30.    Sorry I have some media to do and then we can head back home.    I can do the rest via zoom." Chase says.

"Okay.   Don't forget you have one important meeting." Jossalyn says.

"I know share day with Josh.    Trust me I won't forget." Chase says kissing her nose.

"Okay.   I guess I better get up and come with." Jossalyn says.

"Yes mom and dad stayed and will watch the kids." Chase says.

"Okay." Jossalyn replies.

They both get dressed and head out to the living room.    Cindy and Bill had just arrived.

"Congratulations Jossalyn and Chase!     Welcome to the family Jossalyn." Cindy says hugging her.

"Wait what?" Jossalyn asks.

"Chase asked you to marry him and you said yes.   Now I want to see the ring." Cindy replies.

"How did you know?" Chase asks confused.

"It's all over the internet." Bill says.

"What?" Jossalyn asks.

Bill pulled out his phone and showed them the video that was posted along with the pictures from Victory Lane.

"Shit." Chase says.

"Oh god, oh god no no no no no." Jossalyn cries out.

She then turns and runs into their bedroom shutting the door behind her.

"What is wrong?   Its a good thing.   The sweetest proposal and its good publicity." Cindy says.

"Yeah but if her ex sees it then he will know where she is." Chase says.

"It can't be that bad.   I mean people break up all the time.  And they move on."  Cindy replies.

"You don't know the hell she went through,  he beat her to within inches of her life.      He punched her in the stomach over and over knowing she was pregnant with their baby.    He raped her god only knows how many times." Chase says.
