Chase's POV:
In the middle of the night Chase and Jossalyn woke up hearing Melissa cry out.
"Oh no." Jossalyn says.
"It's okay baby, daddy's got her." Chase says.
"You sure?" Jossalyn asks.
"Yes I am sure." Chase says kissing her.
He then gets up and heads into Melissa's room.
"Daddy." Melissa cries.
"What's wrong sunshine?" Chase asks.
"Daddy." Melissa cries louder.
Chase leans down scooping her up. She clung to him laying her head on his shoulder.
"Shh sweet pea daddy's got you." Chase says kissing her head.
"Daddy." Melissa says in between sobs.
"Sweet pea, apple of my eye Don't know when and I don't know why You're the only reason I keep on coming home Sweet pea, what's all this about? Don't get your way, all you do is fuss and pout You're the only reason I keep on coming home I'm like the Rock of Gibraltar, I always seem to falter And the words just get in the way Oh, I know I'm gonna crumble and I'm trying to stay humble But I never think before I say Sweet pea, keeper of my soul I know sometimes I'm out of control You're the only reason I keep on coming You're the only reason I keep on coming, yeah You're the only reason I keep on coming home." Chase sings to her as he moves around dancing with her.
He did this a few times while rubbing her back.
"She okay?" Jossalyn asks coming in behind them.
"Yeah I think so. She fell back asleep." Chase says.
"Good." Jossalyn says.
She ruffled her hair, kissing her head but never waking her. Chase laid her down tucking her back in. He then turned to face Jossalyn.
