Jossalyn's POV:
Jossalyn woke up the next morning. She went to get up.
"Don't even think of it." Chase says holding her in place.
"Chase it's your first race back from injury. You need to make sure you have breakfast." Jossalyn says.
"We will eat at the Napa tent okay. Lay here with me and relax before the alarm goes off." Chase says kissing her lips.
"Okay baby." Jossalyn says.
She settled back down. Chase moved closer to her. Jossalyn closed her eyes and drifted off back to sleep.
The alarm went off a little bit later and both Jossalyn and Chase got up and got dressed. They then heard to get the kids up. Once they were dressed they go to head down to the tent.
Jossalyn put on Fletchers harness and leash.
"Taking Fletcher with you?" Chase asks raising his eyebrow.
"Yes baby. My skin is crawling with the feeling of being watched. I don't know if it's just my anxiety over you being back in the car and my PTSD having a flare up but yeah I would feel safer with Fletch with us." Jossalyn says.
"It's fine baby. He will protect you guys." Chase says kissing her head.
They head down to the Napa tent. Josh and Melissa were running ahead of them jumping in puddles. Finally they arrive and head inside. Jossalyn and the kids find a table and Chase went to get them food. Once each of them had a plate in front of them Chase finally went and got one for himself.
"It's so good to finally meet you!" Melissa Berry says taking a seat next to Jossalyn.
"You must be Josh's wife." Jossalyn says.
"I am. I have heard so much good things about you." Melissa B says.
"I hope all good things." Jossalyn says.
"Oh yeah, that one right there is crazy about you." Melissa B says.
Jossalyn looks up and they lock eyes. Chase smiles and then makes the kissing face at her. Jossalyh smiles making the kissing face right back him.
"Well you see I am just as crazy about him." Jossalyn says.
Chase came back and they ate their food. The kids were having the time of their lives. Once they finished their food they went to play cornhole.
Knowing the kids were safe in the tent with sponsors and having to have credentials to get in Jossalyn went with Chase at his many appearances.
