Jossalyn's POV:
Jossalyn woke up the next morning when the alarm went off. Chase kisses her head running his fingers through her hair.
"Good morning." Jossalyn says leaning up capturing his lips with hers.
"Good morning." Chase says before kissing her back.
"We better get ready to go. We need to get to the track and get this day started." Jossalyn replies.
"I know. I can't wait to get back." Chase says.
"I hope it's okay I kinda invited some of our friends over for a cookout tonight and game night." Jossalyn says.
"Who?" Chase asks.
"Ryan and Gianna, Alex and Willow and Kyle and Katelyn." Jossalyn says.
"Okay that's not to bad. Yeah it's okay I know you miss your friends." Chase says.
"I am sorry if it is to much I'll cancel." Jossalyn says softly.
"No baby it's fine. Just next time run it by me first okay. I'm not mad so don't think that." Chase says.
"Sorry I come with a lot of baggage." Jossalyn replies as the tears she didn't even know were there fell.
"Hey don't cry baby, I am sorry for what that son of a bitch did to you but I am not him okay. I am not going to say we won't fight but I will never ever lay my hands on you in anger and I will never make you feel stupid or be little you." Chase says.
He leans in and kisses her tears away. He then kisses her softly. Jossalyn wraps her arms around him and he pulls her in tightly.
"How did I get so lucky to find you?" Jossalyn asks.
"I believe I found you so that makes me the lucky one baby." Chase says kissing her head.
"I love you. I promise next time I'll ask first." Jossalyn says.
"That's all I ask baby." Chase says kissing her forehead.
They both get up and get dressed. They then somehow manage to get the kids and the animals in the car in a timely fashion and head on off to Sonoma.
A little bit later they arrive at the track and pull in. They park in front of their home away from home. They get out and get the animals onto the bus and the bags. Evelyn took the kids to the fan zone. Chase and Jossalyn head down Napa Tent and grab a plate to eat.
"So what is on the agenda today?" Chase asks.
"You have media and then practice and then qualifying." Jossalyn says.
"Okay." Chase says.
Jossalyn goes and slides into his lap. She leans her head against his.
"It will be okay. Put the incident with Denny behind you." Jossalyn says.
