Jossalyn's POV:
The next morning Jossalyn and Chase woke up snuggled up with Melissa.
"Mama, Daddy." Melissa says nuzzling them both.
"Good morning sunshine." Chase says kissing her head.
"Good morning Daddy." Melissa says kissing him, smothering him in sloppy wet kisses.
"She loves her daddy." Jossalyn says.
Melissa then jumped over smothering her in kisses too.
"Love mama." Melissa says
"Love you more my princess." Jossalyn says kissing her.
That was when the nurse came in.
"Would you to take Melissa home?" She asks.
"Yes!" Chase and Jossalyn both say.
They draw up the paper work and soon enough they were able to head back to the track. Melissa was so excited to be free. She had a doctors appointment on Tuesday but it was happy just to have her home. They got her settled in her room. Jossalyn went and laid with her.
"I am going to go down and get ready for quals and practice. " Chase says.
"Okay baby good luck." Jossalyn says kissing him.
Chase kisses her back and then heads down to the track.
Jossalyn and Melissa snuggle together watching the coverage.
Chase's POV:
Chase heads down to the hauler. He went to get changed.
"Qualifying has been cancelled." Alan says.
"Figured as much. " Chase says.
"We start 6th." Alan says.
"That's not that bad." Chase says.
He debriefed with the crew and then he headed back to the coach. Jossalyn and Melissa were asleep on the couch in the game room.
Chase calls in a pizza and then he goes and kisses Jossalyn waking her up.
"Hey baby." Jossalyn says.
"Hey baby. I ordered pizza." Chase says.
"Sounds good." Jossalyn replies.
"Everything got rained out." Chase says.
"Oh okay." Jossalyn says.
"I start sixth." Chase says.
"That's not to bad." Jossalyn says.
The pizza comes and they sit down and eat together. They then watch whatever Melissa wanted to watch.
