Papa

by Claudia Bitancor

There is a place where you'll feel that you took three mountains under heavy rains to get there. The muddy road is just like a chocolate dip and as sticky as a rice cake dough. But deep within the greens, you could find him, the man that is strong as a hurricane and as brave as a thunder lightning.

Even if he is suffering from an illness that kills his happiness to feel the world, his smile is like the sun rising from the east when he sees his children coming to see him from afar.

Paternity is as precious as gold and time is walking us close to them. But the time came that his pain must have growled and cried. He cannot bear to stand it anymore.

He had given up his hopes to be freed with pain. He yelled to the angels to take him and left us silently.

His breath has taken away. His whispers flew by the air away. The silent greens filled with crying souls, mourning and sorrows.

His name will never be buried and will never be forgotten and just like scattered seeds, his memories bloom forever.
