If there was ever a doubt in Wu Xie's mind about Xiaoge's trust in him, this was the perfect opportunity to prove his undying faith in him no matter what circumstances they might find themselves in while exploring tombs. Of course, Wu Xie would never doubt him, so there was really no need for him to prove what Wu Xie knew by heart, but even so, he found his newfound state of blindness to be a perfect opportunity to further bolster Wu Xie's trust in him.

Both Pangzi and he had gone blind at almost the same time and in a moment they were about to face great danger, which worried him a little, although he was confident that they could handle it. The trust between the three of them was no joke and he only needed Wu Xie's guidance to jump into the darkness below him, land on his feet and carefully move to give Pangzi room to jump in after him as well. Xiaoge's jump had been almost perfect, but Pangzi's balance was a little off, but nothing he couldn't fix, holding his brother by the backpack and helping him stand upright beside him.

"Even after all those years of using my luck in all sorts of situations, I was confident that I still have some luck left. It's not like I'm going to die on my first attempt at blind jumping, right Xiaoge?" Pangzi asked as he let Xiaoge lead him towards the stone beams, so that Wu Xie could jump as well.

"You still have the luck my ass, more like you still have Xiaoge to catch you." Wu Xie teased as he also jumped down and balance himself over the beam.

"Since when had Xiaoge catch me? Back in Tamutuo he catch you instead of me, the same as in the Xin Yue restaurant. I have no human cushion like you have. That was mean Xiaoge, I hope you realize that you have neglected this poor Panye." Pangzi said back.

"He catch you in Banai, otherwise you would have die right down that endless cliff." Wu Xie remained Pangzi, which make him smile.

"I take it back, Xiaoge, you are a good brother, just remember to catch me from time to time."

"You are heavier now than when we were in Tamutuo, Pangzi, I have been telling you to lose some weight..."

"Wu Xie, where to next?" Xiaoge pressed his lover, before the other two forget they were still in danger as he could clearly hear the frenetic sound of the leather figurine from above, in search for them.

"Let me have a better look, you two hold on." Wu Xie said as he jumped to the beam in front of him and illuminate the beams from bellow, making a fast calculation of the distance between them and the beams for Xiaoge to jump next.

"Xiaoge, just one meter under your left, be careful, the space is equally narrow." Wu Xie told him and Xiaoge assented in understanding before jumping down the distance that Wu Xie had calculated for him. This time, the jump was easier and he just moved away enough for Wu Xie and Pangzi to jump down as well.

"Tianzhen, we should keep jumping together like this. I feel a lot safer than on my own." Pangzi said as he extended his arms to look for him.

"Yes, but as long as you follow me, you're looking the wrong way, so don't even think about taking a step in that direction," Wu Xie warned him as he took his arm and made him grab his backpack while standing between Xiaoge and Pangzi.

"Okay. I will follow your lead."

"Alright. Xiaoge, to your left, this beam extends forward for a few more meters. I'm right behind you," Wu Xie said and Xiaoge felt Wu Xie holding him by the back, like an anchor, to make sure he wouldn't lose him. So they walked those meters while holding each other until Wu Xie asked for them to stop again.

"Let's turn to our left here first, then Xiaoge... the next jump its 1.5 meters down straight, just bellow us." And thus Xiaoge jumped down without breaking a sweat and waited for the next instruction.
