This was it.

Today was the day.

Luke was a man now, and he had to change his Instagram username.

Luke is a penguin was just too....childish. Fetus Luke was a penguin. This Luke, is a man.

Luke went online to Instagram and wondered what he should change his name to.

Luke_Hemmings? Kinda standard.

Wait. What if he put it in caps?

Yaaaaaas, he thought to himself and congratulated himself on the pure genuineness that was his brain.

Unfortunately, he couldn't change his user, because that other username was already taken.

Luke frowned and searched the username he wanted.

A fanboy account.

Luke smiled when he noticed he was clearly this fans favorite in the band. Maybe he could use that to his advantage.

He decided to message the fan.

Luke_Is_A_Penguin: hey

It showed that the fanboy was active so it only took a few minutes for him to reply.

LUKE_HEMMINGS: Hi

Luke was a bit taken aback. Why was he so calm? Wasn't he aware he was talking to his idol?

Luke_Is_A_Penguin: do u want to make a deal?

Yeah Luke, go the mysterious route.

LUKE_HEMMINGS: mm
LUKE_HEMMINGS: okay

Luke frowned. "Why won't you get excited?"

Michael appeared in the doorway. "You talking to your dick again?"

Luke scowled. "No. Just this guy on Insta, he has the username I want."

"So ask him to change his user so you can have it." Michael shrugged.

"I am, but he won't get excited." Luke pouted. "I thought I was his idol."

"You're no ones idol." Michael snickered.

"You're just jealous because I'm the leader." Luke stuck his tongue out as he focused back to his screen.

Michael made an incredulous sound. "Bitch whet. No you're not. You're the little baby who some people think is a badass."

"And the leader." Luke reminded.

"Fight me."

"Bite me."

Luke_Is_A_Penguin: if you change ur username to anything else, and let me have ur current one, ill get u backstage tickets for any show u want

No way anyone could turn down that deal!

LUKE_HEMMINGS: nah. Thanks tho

Michael laughed out loud. "Ha! He so got you!"

Luke scoffed. "He's just playing hard to get."

"And he's winning." Michael smiled.

Luke_Is_A_Penguin: y not?

LUKE_HEMMINGS: I have a better deal in mind.

Now Michael had fallen silent and was watching the screen of Luke's laptop.

LUKE_HEMMINGS: come on a date with me (:

Luke blinked. "But I don't even know his name."

"Ask!" Michael rolled his eyes.

Luke_Is_A_Penguin: what's ur name?

LUKE_HEMMINGS: Ashton

"He sounds adorable." Michael squealed and punched Luke's shoulder.

Luke went flying off the bed.

Michael quickly grabbed the laptop and typed a reply.

Luke_Is_A_Penguin: sure, just give me ur address and I'll come by tomorrow at five.

"Michael Gordon!" Luke shouted, running back.

Michael cringed. "You know I outlawed that name when we first started."

"Gordon!" Luke sang loudly and purposefully off beat. "Gordon Gordon Gordon!"

Michael hissed at him and ran out of the room.

Luke smiled to himself and sat on his bed, pulling the laptop towards him.

LUKE_HEMMINGS: Sounds great (: c u then!

The user signed off before Luke could reply.

The next day, Luke went online again to see if Ashton was ready.

But when he searched LUKE_HEMMINGS, he got no results.

Worried, he typed in #Ashton, hoping the boy had tagged himself in his posts so Luke could direct himself to Ashton's profile.

After scrolling through many many many photos of Ashton Kutcher, Luke finally saw a picture of a cute looking boy in a 5SOS shirt, smiling with a few other people in the back.

Luke clicked on it and read the boys bio.

Hi, I'm Ashton and I'm cuter than your baby puppy (: ♡

So he did change his name then!

Luke quickly went to his own account and changed his user before another fan took it.

Then he messaged Ashton about their date.
