Part Twenty-Seven

Dushala and Draupadi were talking a lot in Draupadi's chamber till she decided to get Dushala set up in her chambers. They talked more and finally Draupadi suggested she gets some rest before the grand feast. She excused herself and went to straight to the kitchen. She was absolutely confused she had no idea to what to make to please her guests. Finally after debating with herself she started to prepare saag and Dhal Makhani she proceeded onto make some ritaa and then started to prepare some chapatis, she stood back and debated on dessert she settled for Kheer. She stood back and wiped her forehead witch somehow had aata on it she realised that it wasn't enough she quickly made some Chole Bhature, Aloo Gobi , Aloo ki tikki she then moved to make something else and decided to make Matar paneer she stood back to think what else to make and made some Samosas, spring roles and Pakoras she then moved to a different surface and started to make Dosas and finally a curry. She stood back to admire her work and with a role of her eyes thought this best be enough.

She decided to go her chambers to go change her lengha she crashed into someones chest. She looked up to meet the gaze of Arjun seeing her covered in flour he couldn't help but laugh she huffed slightly and her hair flew out of her face she deliberately barged into him and carried on to her chambers.

What to wear she thought until she found her newest lengha she pulled it out.

Now hair she thought. Better to tie it up if i'm going to serve she thought

She then made her way to the feast hall where she saw everyone waiting in their place besides Arjun and Krishna she shook her head and carried on. Her mother announced "Today's food has been prepared by Draupadi and we hope you enjoy it." The Daasi's brought all the food out and everyone was shocked at the amount she made her brother Kamalakar screeched "Di how much have you made." Dhrist carried on " Are you trying to make us fat." She cleverly said "Its not all for you pigs." Which all the sisters laughed and supported their sister and much to the amusement of everyone Dakshi and Madhiumta hit the bothers and Abhay and Ambarish at the same time said "Di/ Drau you have made the younger ones violent too." They all laughed and the ladies of Panchal started to sever food.

Sadhvi asked Kunti where Arjun and Krishna where and with a chuckle she said " You know with those two together we might never see them but Krishna wanted to show Arjun around Panchal. Draupadi scoffed at this as everyone turned their attention to her she blushed and said "Govind doesn't even no Panchal very well and with his sense of direction, Maa Kunti you might not see Rajkumar ever again." They all laughed as Draupadi smirked and continued to serve. The elders and the pandavs started to eat and instantly fell in love with her food it was so tasty everyone complemented her and Bheem decided to ask "Rajkumari what is your secret?" She smiled and said "Love rajkumar. I have been taught that the more love you cook with the tasty the food is, if your angry and cook it could make someone feel sick." All the elders in their hearts blessed her and continued eating.

Sera couldn't stand this Draupadi and her good nature was annoying her she had everything powers, kindness, beauty and she was so talented she envied this girl, she wanted draupadi dead. As draupadi was making her way she stuck her foot out to trip her and she did but someone saved her in time.

Arjun had caught her. He had see the third wife of the king do that and rushed to catch her. She looked beautiful he thought. They stared into each others eyes and everyone couldn't help but smile, Krishna quickly and loudly said "Sakhi somehow you always end up in Paarth's arms don't make that your home." At this everyone chuckled which soon turned into heaps of laughter as the two blushed.

She stood up and brushed her skirt she nodded at Arjun thanking him and turned to Sera she sneered slightly and said "He won't be there to protect you for ever you know." She pushed her slightly and walked out. Samarthya and Sadhika were angry and went after their mother but was stopped by Draupadi as she shook her head and led them back.

She looked at Krishna and Arjun and said " Sit down and eat you two must be hungry." Krishna smirked and said "Paarth listen to your wife." Everyone couldn't help but smirk and Draupadi punched him hard he said "You do realise that i still have your shoe." She narrowed her eyes and served the two. Kunti the realised that all the dishes Draupadi prepared Arjun loved so she questioned her "Putri Draupadi how did you know that these were Arjun's favourite dishes." She replied "I didn't Maa i just made anything."

Arjun smirked and took a bite of the food and it was undoubtedly the best food he had ever had he let out a soft hmm and Krishna noticed and cheekily said " Looks like your husband is enjoying the food sakhi." At this she spun on her heal and said "That's it i'm done." She picked up a glass of water and splashed him much to the amusement of everyone he then got up dripping wet and said "Sakhi don't run come here i want to give you hug." She ran .he chased. She then hid behind her mother Kadambari and Krishna accidentally hugged her and made her wet she then in deadly voice told him to sit and eat he gulped quickly and sat down and ate seeing this everyone broke into laughter she then left to change her sari and came back.

Once the men where done they left to let the ladies eat in peace
