Everything was set for the bike race and the birthday girl was more than excited to get her wish fulfilled. Manik was going to race with dhruv's bike whereas nandini and maddy with maddy's.
Manik was on call with his mom ensuring if they reached safely while most of his attention was on maddy and nandini who were busy in their own world. It seemed like maddy was cracking some jokes which were making nandini laugh which was not at all liked by manik but somehow he was maintaining his calm.
Maddy: aur fir voh rote rote vaha se chala gaya. You so missed it munchkin
He laughed while telling her about all the pranks he pulled out in her absence which were making nandini laugh hard and manik angry.

Manik: mom I will call you later
Nyonika: ok bacha take care bye
Manik: ya bye
He replied distractedly and cut the call and started walking in maddy and nandini's direction.
Manik stood next to nandini, swinging his arm around her shoulder which made nandini look at him at once.
Nandini: oh hey manik!
Manik: seems like you have forgotten your best friend after meeting your long lost university friend
He spoke eying maddy. Nandini noticed this and began explaining.
Nandini: no manik its nothing like that....maddy toh bas mujhe un pranks ke bare me bata raha tha which he did after I shifted here in Mumbai
Manik: oh I see
Maddy: oh ha munchkin after you left voh shahid aaya tha to your apartment tumhe dhundhte hue. Voh toh tum par full on lattoo hai yaar
Nandini: not again yaar....he is just so...so annoying and such a chipkoo
She said making weird faces.
Maddy laughed at her remark while manik gaped at her in amusement.
Manik: star ek minute mere saath aao na
Nandini: but manik race-
Manik: are come na...race start hone se pehle hum aa jaenge and maddy hai na voh sambhal lega right maddy?
Maddy: uh ha ya munchkin tum...tum jao I will manage
Nandini: sure na?
Maddy nodded.
Nandini: thanks
Manik: nandini chaloooo
Manik said in a tone of urgency, dragging her along.
Nandini: aa rahi hu baba
She giggled.
Manik took her to a corner to which nandini frowned.
