MaNan: It all started with a lie

It was twelve minutes after soha's call when fab 5 along with yaari reached the audi to find soha standing there with a smirk while the stage being set up with cameras and the two sides of the stage lined with different hangers that carried various costumes that made them frown in confusion.

Manik: soha what is all this? Yeh costumes and all...why?

Soha: baby no hi no hello...directly questions...let me greet you properly first

Saying this she hugged manik and pecked his cheek, infuriating both manik and nandini.

Nandini: soha stay away!

She yelled making soha smirk.

Soha: oh come on nans...tum itna jealous kyu ho rahi ho? Dont get so worked up...just relax

Manik: soha STAY AWAY from me and tell us what did you call us here for

He spoke through gritted teeth.

Soha: ok...if you say so. (Turning to fab 5) so guys I have organized a Photoshoot for you guys...you know for the album..so yeah. I know that it was because of me that it got delayed but now lets not waste more of our time and lets begin

Navya: but photoshoot is supposed to happen once all the songs are prepared right? So abhi se kyu?

Soha: look Ms. Whatever you are...yeh mere dad ka album hai so if I want a photoshoot then it will happen and main iss band ki manager bhi hu so I know better

Cabir: navya is right Soha. Humne ab tak sirf do songs prepare kiye hai...we still have two more to go and a photo shoot is always done according to the songs in the album...if you know what I mean

Soha: FYI Cabir...I know that but I hope I was clear enough before. When I say I want a photo shoot then no matter what the photo shoot will happen so now stop wasting time talking nonsense and get ready

Before anyone else could speak, alia chipped in seeing things getting heated.

Alia: um soha our costumes?

Soha: oh yeah...Andy!

A guy with overly stylish clothes appeared and stood beside soha and started looking at fab 5 with a scrutinizing gaze making them feel conscious.

Mukti*scowls*: what the hell are you staring at?

Soha: guys thats Andy, your stylist whose gonna assign you your dresses and Andy this is fab 5

Andy: you guys need to work on your looks real hard

He said eying them in disagreement.

Alia: excuse me! We are already the best...we dont need your tips

Mukti: she's right

Soha: alia sweetheart I dont think arguing here is a better option so just do whatever he says ok? (To Andy) Andy you may begin

Andy: guys come on...follow me

Fab 5 started walking when soha interrupted.

Soha: uh-ah manik...where are you going?

Manik: to get my outfit

Soha: those outfits are only for the four of them...tumhare outfits toh yaha hai

Manik turned around to see what soha was pointing at and saw four hangers of changes for him with too many outfits hanging on them.

Manik: why so many changes for me and unlogo ke liye so less?

Soha: oh come on manik...you are a rockstar so ofcourse you need options for yourself...afterall you need to look your best

Manik: but-

He was cut off by Cabir.

Cabir: are manik humse zyada you need to work on your looks isliye you have so many changes toh abhi stop cribbing like a baby, pick one outfit and go change

Manik: fine!

Manik turned to select a costume when soha again started blabbering.

Soha: these all are for you...tumhe select karne ki zaroorat bhi nahi hai cuz I have already chosen the best for you

Saying so she grabbed a black leather jacket, a black T-shirt that had some fancy yet cheap design on it, a blue denim and finally a silver biker chain to complete his look.

Soha: hows it? Nice na? I knew you would like it kyuki yeh maine jo design kiya hai

She bragged.

Nandini: but soha yeh manik ka style nahi hai...infact these clothes are not at all fab 5's style

Soha: look you are no one to poke your nose over here and this outfit...yeh maine design kiya hai and am sure that manik likes it

Nandini was still not convinced so she walked to the hangers where Manik's changes were placed and after shuffling for a while pulled out an outfit and showed it to manik.

Nandini: I guess you will like this...kaisa hai?

Manik: awesome

Soha: seriously manik? This looks so downmarket. You need to wear something like this...rockstar types

Manik: soha this is not really what I like so am sorry...I will go with what nandini has selected

Soha: but-

Manik: nandini mere saath chalo na I need your help

Nandini*widens eyes*: what!?

Manik: what what? Come na

Nandini: manik I need to select outfits for fab 4 too na...ha so tum jao, I am here only

Manik: nandini voh sab voh log khud kar sakte hai...right guys?

Mukti*smirking*: ha choti tu ja na

Nandini: but guys...

Dhruv: are nandu tum tension mat lo...we will manage. Tum buddy ke saath jao

Manik*looking at nandini*: see...I told you now lets go

Nandini: manik

She tried to protest but too late, manik was already dragging her to his changing room so she had no escape. On the other hand, after they left, their friends burst out laughing and proceeded to their changing rooms leaving an angry soha behind.

Manik's changing room

Nandini: manik aise koi karta hai kya? Pata nahi sab kya soch rahe honge! Aur Bhai! Aiyyappa! Man-

But she was cut in between when manik placed his lips on hers for a short kiss. Nandini took a moment to realise what just happened but soon responded making manik smile between the kiss. They soon broke apart and manik started speaking caressing her cheek with his thumb.

Manik: sshh...kitna bolti ho tum...breathe!

Nandini: but-

Manik: nandini breathe!

Nandini sighed and took a deep breath.

Manik: feeling relaxed?

She just nodded.

Manik: ok so now hear me out I think soha is surely upto something. I mean all of a sudden yeh photoshoot and then giving me special treatment and then that smirk on her face tells me that something is definitely wrong with her, she is planning something big

Nandini: but what? We need to know

Manik: yup that we do

Nandini: but for now lets move out varna again that soha will do something

Manik: uh right but not before this

Before nandini could understand what he was talking about, manik quickly pecked her lips and rushed out of the room leaving nandini blushing behind him.
