After chilling for sometime in the canteen, Manik decided to meet Nyonika and inform her about whatever happened with Nandini. He was on his way to her cabin when he dashed into a very much annoyed Pandit.

Manik: whoa aaraam se Panditji...itni bhi kya jaldi hai?

Pandit: I don't have time to talk right now, I need to go and check on Nandini. Maine uss peon ko bola tha but I think this college doesn't have efficient staff. Its almost past half an hour and the peon is still nowhere to be seen

Manik: Two things Panditji. Number one is that Space ka staff is undoubtedly very efficient and there are no second thoughts to it and number two, voh peon mujhe mila tha but I only asked him to leave and told him that I will inform you about Nandini and that's what I was about to do. Infact acha hi hua ki aap yahi mil gaye....come with me, I need to discuss something important

Pandit looked confused but anyways followed Manik as they arrived in Nyonika's cabin.

Manik*knocks the door*: may I come in Mam?

Nyonika: come in

Manik entered inside and greeted Nyonika followed by the Pandit. Nyonika smiled at Manik but frowned seeing the Pandit and looked at Manik for answers who blinked his eyes as Pandit took a seat in one of the chairs.

Pandit: ab kya main jaan sakta hu what was so important that you wanted to discuss?

Manik: Patience Panditji...hum usi discussion ke liye toh yaha aaye hai

Nyonika: Manik can you please tell me what discussion are you here for?

Manik: Voh mom...uh sorry Mam Panditji ne aaj Nandini ki class 6th floor wale music room me conduct ki thi and you might be knowing right that it is the most least used class to practice

Pandit*annoyed*: How does that even matter Manik? Nandini meri.student hai and I just wanted her to practice in peace without any disturbance isliye I asked her to practice on the 6th floor

Manik: Yeah right you asked her to practice and then vanished somewhere leaving her alone over there

Pandit: I was with the Principal in his cabin and anyways I don't think its any of your business to keep own where I was so just get to the point already

Manik: Well so getting to the point Panditji do you know what happened there in your absence?

Manik asked, narrowing his eyes at the Pandit.

Nyonika: Manik stop beating around the bush and just tell me what do you want to say already. I am really getting annoyed now

Manik: Mam after Panditji left Nandini alone in the class, someone filled her room with smoke and locked it from outside. When I reached there she was lying unconscious in a corner. So now tell me isn't it Panditji's responsibility to stay back in class and make sure nothing goes wrong

Nyonika*shocked*: What?!

Manik: yes

Pandit: Mujhe koi sapna nahi aaya tha Manik that meri absence me Nandini ke saath aisa kuch hoga and also Nandini is not a little baby that she needs someone to look after her

Manik*angry*: but as a teacher its your bloody responsibility to stay inside the class till the lecture ends dammit or at least arrange a substitute teacher if you have to leave due to any damn reasons

Nyonika: I agree with Manik Panditji. As a teacher, its your duty to keep a check on your student AMD of for some reason you cannot be present there then you should have appointed a substitute teacher in your place. Shayad agar waha Nandini ke saath koi hota toh she wouldn't have suffered so much
