Nandini had finally managed to calm a sobbing manik down who was now trying to make her drink the soup while nandini was as usual showing tantrums.

Manik: nandini thoda sa peelo na princess...its really good for you

Nandini*scowls*: no na manik. Yeh hospital ka khana na bohot bland hota hai, it has no taste at all....specially this soup so I won't drink it

She declared making manik sigh.

Manik: nandini this soup is different and its also very tasty....sachi...you should try it

Nandini*stubborn*: No ways!

Manik: acha ok...agar main tumhare saath yeh share karunga then you will drink it right?

Nandini*amazed*: Tum share karoge?

Manik*shrugs*: ha

Nandini: manik let it be...I know ki tumse nahi hoga, the soup is really bad

Manik: now whatever it is, its at least helping you get better na so I will drink it

Saying so manik filled his spoon with some soup and drank it. Now he knew what nandini was saying, the soup was actually tasteless but now when he had promised of sharing the soup with her, he couldn't back out so stretching the most genuine smile on his face, he looked at nandini and praised the soup even though he wanted to spit it right out of his mouth.

Manik: yum...nandini its so tasty yaar...you should try it for sure

Nandini looked at him as if he was some alien but nevertheless filled the spoon with some soup and drank it and her first instinct was to puke it, it tasted worse than she thought but still seeing Manik's efforts, she swallowed it quietly.

Manik: nice na?

In return nandini just passed him a thin lipped smile.

Now it was Manik's turn again. He swallowed the soup down his throat with utmost difficulty and asked nandini to have it again.

Manik: wow! Its so tasty....agar tumhara turn nahi hota na toh I would have finished it

He said but the moment he found nandini staring at the soup and making faces, he turned around and opened his mouth as if he were to puke in an attempt to get rid of the horrible taste. Nandini looked at manik to see him making faces and smiled a little at his cute efforts when manik turned to face her.

Manik: Chalo have it na

Nandini nodded and brought the bowl near her lips and started gulping its entire content as manik stared at her with wide eyes.

Manik: whoa...now that wasn't expected but at least you had the soup finally. Ab have your medicines too

Nandini*cribbing*: manik maine soup piya na then why medicines? Manik you know na ki I don't like medicines....I am toh...ha...I am toh allergic to them so please na manik...mujhe dawai mat khilao na...I don't wanna have those kadwa medicines
