Flashback continues

Maddy waited all through as the host announced his band as the winners. He smiled in happiness even though he didn't perform with them, after all they were his family for him and he was ready to forgive them.

The host asked the group to speak a few words and Maddy attentively listened to them whilst sitting in the green room, least expecting he was going to receive another blow from their side.

Yash: We are really speechless at the moment because achieving this trophy was our dream and now living it for real is something we don't know how to express

Aarohi: True that. We have given in our everything to reach here and win and now holding this trophy feels so surreal

Maddy smiled slightly listening to them. He exactly knew how they were feeling out there, he himself was also craving to feel the same but he was helpless.

Sanjana: But I would like to add that this wouldn't have been possible without the person who spent all his days and nights in composing the song and working hard to make it perfect

This time Maddy's smile widened. He was expecting Sanjana to take his name and thank him but never had he imagined what he heard next.

Sanjana: So I would like to thank the person behind this magical composition. Thank you....Siddharth

To say Maddy was baffled would be an understatement. He had never expected Sanjana out of all the people to say or do something like this.

She had literally claimed Siddharth as the owner of all his hardwork without much of a thought!

Sanjana: Siddharth has put in a lot of efforts day in day out to make this song perfect and I am so glad to have him as a member of our band

Siddharth: I am not really good at taking credits but credits coming in from such a beautiful girl shouldn't go waste so I would gladly take them

He winked as the crowd hooted while Maddy froze at his place. He could just wonder why was he suddenly feeling so aloof and betrayed. How much ever he tried to let go of these feelings, they would knock him even harder the next moment. Now he was just waiting to confront the people he once thought were his family.
