Maddy: Finally Ms. Veena Vadini is here

Maddy said but his tone sounded unpleasant which made the others cringe in confusion.

Aryaman: Maddy kya baat hai bro?

Maddy: Arya now that the great Nandini Murthy is here so why don't you ask her only

He said narrowing his eyes at her.

Nandini*rolls eyes*: Oh hello attitude ki chalti firti dukaan stop giving me those looks ok, it was completely your fault

Maddy: My mistake? Are you even serious?

Nandini: Ofcourse its your mistake. You didn't want to listen to me so I had to do it

Maddy: Who do you think you are huh? You cannot just boss around me like that. I am Madhyam Singhania and Madhyam Singhania doesn't take any orders get that!?

Nandini: Main bhi Nandini Murthy hu and you should know ki Nandini Murthy has always gotten whatever she has wanted and if she doesn't get it then she has her own ways

Maddy: whatever

Their batter continued as the rest gaped at them confused.

Cabir: guys what's all this tashan about?

Alia: did you two fight or something?

Nandini: you better ask that to him Alia

Maddy: Excuse me Ms. Murthy why should I answer her? You started it so now you answer them

Manik: O...kay. Nandu tum mujhe batao what's wrong?

Manik asked her softly pulling her close and holding her hand in his.

Nandini: Manik this Madhyam na is a jerk. He has so much attitude! .

She exclaimed angrily and Manik was taken aback since this was the first time Nandini was behaving like this in case of Maddy.

Maddy: Attitude? I have attitude? Have you ever seen yourself Veena Vadini? Always giving those stupid lectures so that you can manipulate people and get your way through!

Manik: Maddy mind your tongue

Manik said calmly yet sternly, not liking his choice of words for Nandini.

Maddy: ofcourse tum toh mujhe hi bologe na sine she is your girlfriend

Manik: nahi its not that-

Maddy: No Manik let it be, you don't need to explain

Navya: Maddy hume batao ki kya hua hai

Maddy: Navya this girl right here (points at Nandini) thinks that I don't play good music...that I am not capable alone

Nandini: ha toh Navya tum hi batao ki isme galat kya hai. He was playing the wrong chords time and again and jab I tried correcting him he gave me attitude toh maine bhi sach bol diya

Abhimanyu: Nandu tu janti hai na how he is toh fir-

But she cut him mid-sentence.

Nandini: Bhai aap bhi iski side le rahe ho? Manik you understand me right? You know na that I wasn't wrong

Manik: Maddy Nandini was just correcting you na as a good friend does. She was just a little rude to you but understand her na and stop stretching it too much

Manik took her side and Nandini smirked at Maddy.

Maddy: I am stretching it? Dude I am 1 MB, One Man Band. I used to play all the instruments single handedly and create awesome music and she thinks I am not capable

Everyone was exasperated by now since neither Nandini nor Maddy were ready to back off.

Aryaman: Adi tu bhi Maddy ko pehle se janti hai na yaar toh tu use samjha na

Aryaman asked her when he found her busy eating her fries and conveniently ignoring the cold war going on between Maddy and Nandini.

Aditi: Arya I am not wasting my energy on these two when I know they are not even serious

Mukti: what do you mean?

Aditi: Maddy batadu?

Maddy: Aditi yaar how do you do this all the time?

He whined like a baby which made her laugh.

Aditi: perks of being friends with the Madhyam Singhania for so long

She smirked and looked at Manik who had been observing Nandini keenly and then shared a look with Aditi and mirrored her smirk.

Manik: I know exactly what you mean...nai Nandini?

Manik said encircling his arm around Nandini's shoulder, quirking his eyebrow and Nandini passed him a nervous smile.

Nandini: you caught me?

Nandini asked cutely and Manik nodded his head at her, going all aww at his baby.

Dhruv: guys koi bataega what's happening?

Aditi: Dhruv they weren't really fighting, it was just a prank

Aditi explained and the rest just gaped at Nandini and Maddy who stood there smiling sheepishly.

Cabir: Prank? Seriously?

Alia: ya why would you guys play such a prank on us?

Nandini: actually nowadays life wasn't so interesting for us...

Maddy: and we were getting bored so...

Nandini: so we decided to play a chotu prank on you guys

They completed sheepishly, earning a glare from others.

Navya: you know you both scared us so much

Aryaman: Exactly! We have seen you guys fighting and being after each other's neck

Abhimanyu: yup and then being best of friends and so important to each other

Navya: so this little prank of yours really scared us because we knew once you both would cool down how guilty you would be

Maddy/Nandini: sorry guys

Abhimanyu: its ok

He smiled followed by the others making them sigh in relief.

Alia: by the way Aditi how were you so sure that they were pranking us?

Aryaman: ha even I want to know

Aditi: voh actually back then in school Maddy aisa bohot baar kar chuka so I kinda knew it from the way he was behaving so it was easy for me to guess

Maddy: Its nothing new guys. Yeh ladki school me bhi aur ab bhi mere pranks samajh jaati hai and that's why it is difficult to prank her

He said smacking Aditi's head who glared at him.

Aryaman: yeah I know she is a smartass

Nandini: by the way guys Musicana registrations start from next week toh kuch socha hai?

Manik: ha guys we need to geer up kyuki this time we have competition

He said looking at Nandini who smirked.

Aryaman: yup its gonna be fun....yaari (Nandini, Abhimanyu, Navya, Aryaman and Maddy) vs fab 5

Nandini: guys I have one more news to share

Mukti: what?

Nandini: voh Panditji is going to conduct auditions tomorrow because he is planning for a fusion performace in Musicana so if things work out I'll have a partner to sing with that day and won't be performing solo for my classical song

Manik: interesting

He smirked and seeing the smirk on his face, everybody knew Manik won't let someone else sing with Nandini other than him.
