After Manik's meeting with khurana he got back home looking tired as hell.

Nyonika: so my son finally found time to come back home?

He looked up to find nyonika sitting in the living room reading some magazine. Manik's tired eyes softened a bit as he settled himself on her lap, lying down on the sofa and nyonika caressing his hair lovingly.

Nyonika: tired?

Manik: very! First this album deal and then all those boring meetings

He sighed in helplessness.

Nyonika: that's a part of work manik and you should know that me and your dad are proud of you. We feel so glad to see our son climbing the ladders of success in such a young age! You know Raj was always worried about your career but now after seeing you sign that album with Q label which is one of the best music companies all his worries have lessened to a great extent and then we had nandini too. All these days when you were busy, nandini, Abhi and all her friends made sure that we don't feel alone and were always hanging around here to give us company

Nyonika said with a smile and manik could easily see the love and adoration in her eyes when she spoke about nandini and that was the moment when manik felt really proud of his girl.

She is a sweetheart!

But suddenly he smiling face was replaced with a scowl.

Nyonika: Kya hua? Why this sad face?

Manik: mom I am scared, confused, nervous, annoyed...all at the same time

Nyonika: whats wrong bacha?

Manik sighed not knowing how to express himself so he took a deep breath and began framing sentences in his mind to voice them out.

Manik: mom I am at crossroads. Main kuch karne ja raha hu but I don't know if I am doing it in the right way or not and I am just scared and nervous about its result because I can't afford things going wrong...I...I just can't mess up

Nyonika: you know tumhari dadi kehti thi ke whenever you are not sure about something then you should close your eyes and listen....listen to your heart cuz your mind can play games with you but your heart...it will always guide you to the right path and that actually works!

Manik closed his eyes slowly and tried to listen to that small voice in his heart and the next instant he knew what he had to do and a smile spread on his lips.

Manik*getting up*: mom you are the best!!! Thank you so much!!!

He pecked her cheek and started to rush to his room.

Nyonika just laughed at her crazy son and resumed reading her magazine when she heard manik calling her.

Manik: mom won't you ask whats disturbing me?

Nyonika*smiles*: no...I know that sooner or later you will surely share it with me and till then I will wait because I trust you manik

And listening to her words manik grinned feeling blessed to have his mom by his side.

Twenty minutes passed by since manik had called all the boys at his place and showed them soha's video which left them aghast. They were unable to react. Whether be sad for her condition or be disgusted of her and her dad, they had mixed emotions and manik sighed knowing exactly what had made them speechless.

Manik: guys....kuch toh bolo

Dhruv: yeh...I mean soha...she is mentally unstable...I mean...

He wasn't able to frame sentences.

Manik*sighs*: yup she is mentally unstable...she is a patient of split personality and that's the reason behind her dangerous obsession for me

Aryaman: but manik she doesn't look um you know....a...uh a mental patient

Cabir: exactly! Yeh firangi chipkali....I mean soha doesn't look ill from any angle dude!

Maddy: I agree Cabir but she is ill and now we need to deal very cautiously with her

All this while Abhi sat there quietly which was making manik worried.

Manik: Abhi tu kuch nahi bolega?

Abhi: main kya bolu manik? All I can think about is that my baby doll is in danger

Manik*guilty*: I am sorry Abhi....yeh sab meri vajah se ho raha hai....its all because of me

Abhi: no manik. Agar tujhe soha ki iss condition ke baare me pata hota toh tu kabhi bhi nandu ko isme involve nahi karta. I know you since you were a little kid manik and I have seen how protective you are for nandini so just stop blaming yourself ok?

Manik nodded, still a tad bit guilty but no one made any comment knowing it was of no use.

Aryaman: so guys what's the plan?

Manik: its our launch a day later and there's going to be a press conference where khurana is needed so I was thinking why not ask khurana to get soha admitted in a mental asylum before the conference or else we won't attend it

Dhruv: but buddy its his daughter we are talking about...will he agree?

Maddy: he has to dhruv because how much I have come to know about this khurana...he loves his fame and reputation more than anything else and with us having this tape of soha he will have to listen to us

Manik: exactly!

Cabir: ha but what if soha escapes?

Aryaman: we can arrange guards around her

Abhi: ya we can do that and about the conference then we will make sure to not let nandu be alone

Dhruv: ha but guys kya hume soha ke baare me girls ko batana chahiye?

He asked apprehensive.

Manik: no buddy we can't do that. You know how they are...they will get all panicky and tensed after knowing about soha and might end up doing something which we don't want so we better keep this to ourselves

Abhi: manik is right....we can't let the girls get worried...it can even spoil the conference

Cabir: so mission FC is on?

Dhruv: mission FC?

Cabir: ha...mission firangi chipkali

Aryaman*chuckles*: seriously Cabir?

Cabir: what? I can't stay so serious for long isliye this was necessary for me

He shrugged nonchalantly which was followed by a round of laughter marking the end of their hectic day with a hope that the next day would bring in some positive vibes.

Just a filler chapter and hopefully by the next chapter this soha thing will end and then after a leap of some days....valentines day update.
