Abhi slowly squinted his eyes open only to find teary faces around him which made him frown in confusion.

Abhi: manik...baby doll, mukti? Why are you all crying?

He asked while trying to sit straight simultaneously but hissed in pain.

Nandini and mukti helped him sit as he looked around and tried to analyze what exactly was going on and found hospital equipments all around his room.

Abhi: guys yeh sab kya hai? Did I miss on something? Tell me

He first looked at mukti who looked down controlling her sobs, holding his hand tightly in hers. He then turned towards nandini who sat there blankly, not knowing what to say so he finally looked at manik hoping for an answer.

Abhi: manik tu toh kuch bata yaar...what is happening?

Manik: Abhi tu...I mean you...yeh sab..uh

Abhi: manik stop stammering so much and just speak up now!

Manik nodded and started speaking.

Manik: Abhi you-you were in coma.....since two months!

Abhi*shocked*: what!?!? Coma! But how-

But he cut himself midsentence when his accident from the rakhi day flashed in front if his eyes and realization dawned upon him.

Abhi: harshad!

He said gritting his teeth angrily.

Manik: but how do you know? I mean harshad itna bewakoof bhi nahi hai ki voh yeh kaam khud karega so...

He trailed off confused.

Abhi: you are right. Yeh accident harshad ne khud nahi kiya, usne karwaya hai. Uss din nandu ka phone aane se pehle mujhe ek private number se uska call aaya tha

Flashback

Abhi was driving back home when he received a call.

Abhi: private number? Mujhe private number se kaun call karega?

Frowning, he received the call.

Abhi: hello? May I know who is this?

Harshad: Mr. Abhimanyu Murthy! Wassup!

Abhi*angry*: harshad mujhe call kyu kiya hai?

Harshad: are waah...meri awaaz itni jaldi pehchaan li. I am impressed

Abhi: stop with this nonsense and bata tune mujhe call kyu kiya hai?

Harshad: come on yaar tu meri mukti ka so called boyfriend hai toh can't I call you just like that. You really hurt me Abhi

He spoke dramatically feigning innocence which did nothing but fuel Abhi's anger.

Abhi*yells furiously*: mind your tongue harshad! Mukti meri thi, meri hai aur humesha meri hi rahegi so stop dreaming and ya (calms down) rahi baat teri mujhe call karne ki toh harshad itna toh main tujhe janta hu ki bina kisi motive ya baat ke tu mujhe call nahi karega so stop wasting my time and speak up!

Harshad: wow maanna padega...you are smart huh but mujhse zyada nahi so just back off and mukti se dur raho and take this as my warning kyuki tumne agar aisa nahi kiya na toh you will face worst

Abhi: as if I am scared harshad

Harshad: you will regret this abhimanyu murthy...real bad
