Summary: You and Veronica were on a date at the drive-in's closing night when Cheryl decided to invite herself to join you
Tonight was the final showing at the drive-in so of course you took Veronica there on a date. You set up a make-shift bed in the back of your truck with whatever extra blankets and pillows you could find.
The movie started and you two had gotten comfortable with drinks and snacks lying around you but lately you and Veronica hadn't gotten much alone time so as soon as she kissed you the movie was completely forgotten.
After who knows how long you hear someone clearing their throat purposely to make their presence known. When you broke apart you saw Cheryl standing next to your truck.
"Make some room outcasts."
"Uh Cheryl no offence but Y/N and I are on a date," Veronica says slightly annoyed.
"And? Just keep your hands to yourselves while i'm here" Cheryl states as she's climbing into the back of your truck taking a seat beside Veronica.
You could never quite figure Cheryl out. At school she couldn't stand you two or any of your friends but now she was making herself comfortable with one of your blankets and eating your snacks.
Veronica was now clearly annoyed but you whispered to her, "She just lost her brother, she's going through a lot right now. Play nice for one night and i'll make it up to you later."
"Alright fine," she said turning back to the movie.
As the night continued the South Side Serpents are behind you guys being obnoxious as always, yelling at the people on the big screen and throwing food at each other. People from other cars had been shushing them and telling them to keep it down for 20 minutes with no luck so Veronica decided to take it into her own hands.
Before you could do anything to stop her she stands up and shouts, "Hey! You know what happens to a snake when a Louboutin heel steps on it? Shut the hell up or you'll find out!"
As she goes to sit down, cheering comes from the surrounding cars so she stands back up and sweetly says, "thank you" and takes her place back in between you and Cheryl.
"I cannot believe you just threatened a gang-banger," you said to your girlfriend in a tone mixed of shock and slightly impressed.
"I've dealt with worse in the east village. I just hate when people disrespect my cinematic experience." She says glancing at Cheryl at the end hoping she picked up on the double meaning of her remark.
The rest of the movie goes by with Cheryl making her odd comments here and there but you manage to keep Veronica from saying anything mean in return.
After Cheryl finally leaves, Veronica catches you off guard and pulls you in close by your jacket for a kiss.
"My mom won't be home till later, you want to go back to my place and finish what we started earlier?" She says with a wink.
"Sounds good to me," you say back smiling as you get into your car.
