First Day

The next day the new monsters and AIs were up and walking around. They came to the cafeteria to fuel up and try their new diets out.

Arachne: You can't really tell the difference with this.

Arachnid: Nope and the food they make here is quite excellent.

Arachne: Even the cooked meat here is exquisite.

Pure: Glad you enjoyed it.

Arachnid: What is your name?

Arachne: It's Sophia.

Arachnid: Well Sophia, how are you taking to the diet?

Sophia: I'm going to miss webbing up people but it's not so bad if I can get something this good.

Seth: How are all of you taking to the synthetic oil?

AI: It's perfect and it works really well.

Seth: We make our own oils here for our vehicles and machines.

AI: One question though, why do you look like that?

Seth: What do you mean?

AI: I mean, you look more human now.

Seth: Oh, Pure built me a body so that I can do my work.

AI: So it's not that much different?

Seth: I can feel things through this body.

AI: Well a normal AI can't experience feelings so, we don't know what you are experiencing right now.

Pure: When the alliance is formed you can experience the change.

AI: I know I am not allowed to go into personal things but...

Pure: You can go ahead.

AI: What is it like having those reactors and people in your back?

Pure: It's something you get used to.

Seth: Humans adapt to their surroundings and conditions and it is very scary sometimes.

AI: How scary?

Seth: Tell him?

Pure: Tell him.

Seth: Pure has been experimented on for 24 years and what I read from other reports people that last that long are never the same but came out either crippled or way stronger than before.

AI: So they can adapt to any condition?

Seth: Given enough time, yes.

AI: This world is very interesting.

Seth: But don't get any ideas.

AI: Of course.

Pure: If any of you want to visit anywhere tell us and we will be your guide, right now I got to get a check on the engines and improvements we made.

Seth: Any more scrap metal coming in?

Pure: Always.

AI: What do you do with scrap metal?

Pure: We recycle it.

AI: Recycle?

Pure: What's your name?

AI: It's Reese.

Pure: Well Reese, would you like to know what we mean by recycle?

Reese: Yes.

Pure: Come with me.

Pure finishes cooking and heads to the smelting house with Reese. They find a whole heap of scrap metal and junk.
