Mingling Species

In the normal dimension, with Iris and Cedar, Samuel was dropping them off at the get together with the location given. When they got there, there was a big tent with seats and four poles were in a spot for Iris.

Samuel: This is the place.

Iris and Cedar gets out and Cedar goes to the back and takes out some big cases of beer and Iris takes out boxes of cakes she made fresh out of the oven.

Samuel: You all got my number, call when you are ready to head home.

Cedar: You are not staying?

Samuel: I got my own date elsewhere but I won't be as drunk as you all.

Cedar: You have a date?

Samuel: It's with one of the workers too, one of the bakers.

Iris: All right, have a good time.

Samuel: You too.

After they unloaded the rest of the items which was six total big cases of beer and four boxes of cakes. Some people came out to help them. Cedar also brought ice bags to keep the drinks cold.

Worker: I am glad you two came, let's get these inside.

They picked up the cases of beer, ice and Iris had the cakes on her thorax to carry. They went under the tent and put the items they brought out. There was half a barrel that had some ice and water in it for the drinks. They put some of the beers that Cedar brought in it and put Iris's cakes with the other things that were there.

Worker: I set up that small tent to do a small web for you to sit on.

Iris: Thanks.

Worker: Others still have to come and bring their own things but you two can get comfortable.

Iris goes over to the small tent that was bolted down to handle her weight and started to make a web. When she was done she sat down. Iris was a little nervous but Cedar was there so she was calm. Over with Riddex, Torao and Lele, they were in the caterpillar getting some rest after their long day. Torao was already sleeping but not Riddex and Lele.

Lele: How are you feeling?

Riddex: With you talking to me and helping me with my problem, I'm starting to feel better.

The information that Lele got from the Destiny Fort was about helping a person with split personality disorder, namely how to let the person get it under control. Lately Angel Riddex has been beating Devil Riddex straight ever since Lele was helping Riddex.

Lele: That's good, these lessons are helping you nicely.

Riddex: I feel like you are also a part of it, for that, I thank you.

Riddex reaches out and picks up Lele gently, he puts her down on his chest.

Riddex: But I feel I don't know you.

Lele thinks on it for a minute

Lele: Alright, fair point, what do you want to know?

Riddex: The beginning?

Lele: I was a country girl after the war, it was how I was able to work the machines back at home.

Riddex: But you left, why?

Lele: I left to get a better education and go on more of an adventure like what you would do.

Riddex: Sorry if this is blunt but, any boys swing your way?

Lele: Did but it didn't, couldn't handle this much woman, especially from the country. I helped fix up the machines on the farm, been lifting on the farm.
