Learning a thing or two

It was the weekend at the fort and everyone was doing their own thing and learning new things, like Renee and Taeyoung. Taeyoung was teaching her how to swim in the pool inside. He started off with learning how to float in the water to keep her above water.

Taeyoung: That's it, spread out your hands and kick your legs a little.

Renee followed his instructions and she started to float in the water.

Taeyoung: That's it, don't use too much if your energy, now let's learn how to swim forward.

Taeyoung came in front of her and took her arms and rested her hands on his shoulders, he started to move backward slowly.

Taeyoung: Kick your legs so you can keep up with me.

Renee looked at him funny.

Renee: You know I can't keep up unless I learn how to swim, right?

Taeyoung: It's a figure of speech.

Renee: Then why do I get the sense in my systems that meant something else.

Taeyoung: I don't know what you are talking about.

Renee came up and hugged him but still kept swimming.

Renee: Even know I am still learning, I am catching onto certain things.

Taeyoung: Ok, I'll give you that one, was playing with you to see if you are starting to understand things.

Renee: I am, but, don't get any ideas.

Renee pushed him to the wall by using her swimming. Taeyoung realized his back was against the wall and did nothing.

Taeyoung: You are starting to enjoy this, aren't you?

Renee: Starting to, hopefully we can continue this another time?

Taeyoung: Do you have to go?

Renee: I got the whole weekend to enjoy; I'm not going to spend it in the water.

Renee reached up and grabbed the ledge, she was pulling herself up while Taeyoung was watching her and holding her body as she went up. When she got up she walked away while Taeyoung was looking on while she was walking away with the water dripping off her skin. Renee passed by Mima who threw a towel at her and she caught it.

Taeyoung was there on the ledge watching her when Madeline came out of the water.

Madeline: You two still at it?

Taeyoung: She is a feisty one when she figures things out.

Madeline: Just stop playing around and go for it.

Taeyoung: And what are you up to lately?

Just then Derek came.

Derek: Hey Madeline, ready to go?

Madeline: Yes.

Derek still had the mermaid's ring with him and the watch to keep the timer. He put the ring on and started the timer before he jumped into the water.

Madeline: Later.

Madeline dove into the water while Derek and Taeyoung looked at each other.

Derek: Don't let them slip through your fingers man; they may be just the right one for you.

Derek went underwater to catch up with Madeline.

Mima: He is right you know.

Those words got Taeyoung thinking on if he should be playing around or take things serious. Over in the workshop Pure was working on something until he got a notification.
