After I finished talking to Vlad, I went up to my room to go to sleep.

When I got to my room, I noticed that Raven was peacefully sleeping on my bed. I couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked laying there.

Just as I was about to go to sleep, I looked out at the door leading to the balcony. I guess before I go to bed, I should check out the night sky a little.

Making my decision, I walked over to the door and went out to the balcony. Feeling the cold breeze hit my face, I gazed up and looked at the stars in the sky.

It was really beautiful seeing something like this. I never really appreciated the stary night until now.

I could probably stare at it the whole night, but I was interrupted by someone.

"Beautiful night, isn't it?"

I turned around to see a familiar face that I never thought I would see now.

"Zerris," I said.

It looks like the goddess of Darkness is visiting me again. I thought Kenos was screwing around with me again, but I didn't get that vibe like before.

What is she doing here?

"Why are you here?" I asked.

Zerris giggled. "Can't a goddess visit her Champion every once and a while?"

Now that I think about it, I remember that I had some questions that I wanted to ask her. I should take this opportunity to get some answers.

But, before I could even utter a word, Zerris beat me to the punch.

"If you're curious about why I stored my Mother inside you, let's just say I'm doing it because I'm curious," She smiled, evilly.

That sinister smile of hers sent chills down my spine. I couldn't help but feel a little frightened.

But, I held my ground and spoke up.

"Curious about what, exactly?" I asked, determined to get some answers.

"Hmm," The goddess pondered. "I guess you can say I'm curious as to how you'll shape this world. How you'll change it."

Change it? The hell for?

"Why would I want to change the world? I thought you did this because it was amusing."

"Oh, but I did!" Zerris spun around in her black dress. "Everything I've done so far was for my amusement! Storing my mother inside you and turning you into my champion was just the first step to my plan for entertainment."

"The first step? What's the next step then?"

"Seeing you interact with the world, obviously," She giggled like a little girl. "And so far, you've given me a good show."

I quickly remembered all the times that I've either got attacked, chased down, or hated by people in this world. I clenched my fist in anger.

"I know you chose me just so you can get a good laugh out of it, but I don't exactly appreciate you turning me into some plaything to entertain you."

I know her reasons for doing all this, but I can't really stomach being some toy to her. It's infuriating.

Zerris noticed my anger and gasped.

"Oh no, Damien! I would never consider you a toy! Toys are replaceable, but you; you're valuable."

The goddess slowly approached me. I had nowhere to go, so I stayed in place.
