Jax's POV

We had all been stuck in an awkward silence since Ryder and I walked in on Callum and Liam making out.

Ryder had explained to me that he and Liam have an open relationship but I couldn't help but think there was something more to it. Most people in an open relationship don't go bat shit when someone stares at their partner.

Nevertheless I let it go for now. It wasn't any of my business as to what type of relationship my roommates had.

Diner passed slowly due to the slight awkwardness that had us surrounded but I was just glad I wouldn't be fighting tonight. I was still very sore from last night and I'm not sure I could move my arms too far over my head right now even if I really wanted to.

The rest of the day goes about as well as could be expected.

Ryder and I forgot my sheets earlier so I had to borrow Callum's extra set of bedding. I quietly folded my new clothes and placed them in the dresser closest to my bed. I began settling into my new home but I still didn't really like that I as here rather than on the street.

I'd be fighting only when I wanted to, providing for myself, only having to worry about winning and not my streak. Everything would be fine id I wasn't stuck here.

In all honesty if it weren't for my father, fighting wouldn't have been that bad. I loved fighting. The problem came when my dad made stupid bets or rigged the fights all together.

I simply sigh deeply as I sit down on my freshly made bed that now smelled faintly like Callum, not that I'm complaining; he actually smelled really good.

Ryder and Callum were cuddling together on Ryder's bed while Lim glared at both of them with a pout on his face. It was clear that he was in the doghouse about something and wasn't very happy with the way his boyfriend was punishing him.

Every time he got up to join the pair Ryder would glare at him harshly, making Liam sit back down. After he did Ryder would smile and whisper something in Callum's ear before kissing his neck, which only mad Liam more jealous but all he could do was fume silently from his bed.

Part of me wanted to jokingly open my arms to him just so I could watch him explode with utter rage simply because it would be hilarious but I figured I've made him mad enough for one day.

"Be mad at me," Liam finally said after a whole two hours of nothing but the sound of breathing. "Yell at me, throw something, wreck my shit, do all of the above but don't just sit there like I'm not even here. You know how much I can't stand when people do that."

There was an undertone of utter pain in the last sentence that had Ryder flinching against Callum with a slight frown against his pink lips. Liam's voice seemed to break almost but I brush away the thought away; Liam didn't seem like the type of person to cry easily.

Ryder just looked away sadly while Callum said something silently in his ear. Liam stood up from his bed quickly while all but glaring at his boyfriend before walking closer with a slight stomp in his step.

I can help but watch him closely as he grabs Ryder harshly by the wrist. I go to stand up angrily ready to yell at Liam for being so ruff when Callum shot me a look that told me to stay put for a second.

I frown but stay put as I watch Liam pull Ryder up and out of the cabin before slamming the door shut, leaving Callum and I in a glaring battle. Well, I was glaring at him; he was giving me a small smile.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I snap as I continue to glare at him. He simply smiled and bit his lip.

"Because you actually thought Liam would hurt Ryder and ready to fight him over it." I can't help but huff at Callum as I rolled my eyes and lay back onto the bed.
