Just Love Me

CHAPTER 12 - REAL REASON

It's now Saturday and they're on the living room except for Mew. It's been a week since Gulf's allergic reaction happened and only Mew knew about it. But not now, his dad knew.

"Did you tell you mom about this? I'm sure she will worried about you," hia dad said. Mew's dad know about it because the nurse told him about Mew staying in the clinic for half a day. And Mew's dad tell it to Gulf's dad.

"Maybe no, I don't want to worry her too much."

"But atleast, you could tell her," Fatima intervent. Theodore agreed to her but Gulf just shook his head gently. "Aside from worrying, she'll also will surely text me nonstop until she will get over about what happened,"

Fatima just giggled. "Well, she's your mother. Ofcourse she'll be worried,"

Suddenly, Vince came and he's all dressed. "Come on,"

"Where are you going pa?," Jom asked. She's sitting on the chair a meter away from them.

"To your Aunt Natty," he said and Gulf's eyes widened.

"Please don't tell mom," He said.

His dad stood up and went beside Vince. "We can't promise that kiddo," Then Fatima stood up. "Stay inside the house okay? And don't let Mew go out," Fatima said, more like to him. Gulf nodded.

"We'll go now," they said and they all went out.

After sometime, they already drove off and Jom went beside him. "Gulf,"

"Hmm?," He asked.

"I heard what happened. Tell me, did our brother did that?," Jom asked. It's not that she's suspecting her brother but he's the least person she know who really loves to prank others.

"No," Gulf suddenly smiled softly, confusing Jom. "He didn't know that I'm allergic to seafood,"

"Really? Or are you covering him up to save his ass?," Jom said. Gulf shook his head. "Nope,"

"Tell us the truth," Alexia suddenly went on his side. "We'll get your revenge to him," she said.

Gulf just chuckled and mess her hair. "I'm telling the truth,"

Jom just nod even though she's still confuse why Gulf is smiling like that. "But did he help you? Surely not,"

"He did," Gulf said. Jom and Alexia turned at him. They couldn't believe what Gulf said. Because aside from Ria, both of them know what's happening between Mew and Gulf so they're shock. "He even stayed at the clinic until i woke up,"

"Woah," Alexia agape.

Jom is now intrigued. "Why? Did things between you are okay already?,"

"I..I dont know," Gulf shrugged. But he could do something so the relationship between them will be okay. Even if Mew won't agree and push him away.

"Maybe you could change our brother," Alexia suddenly said. Jom tsked. "How? Even mom and dad couldn't change him," she rolled her eyes. She's their every time Mew got scolded.

"It's impossible that our brother will be like that without a reason," Jom sigh. She knew the reason why Mew is being like that. Alexia was still young that time when something happened to Mew that turned him into this.

He was once got bullied too.

"What's the reason why he's like that?," Gulf couldn't help but to ask. He somehow wants to know what happened. Why Mew became a bully.

Jom sighed. "I'll tell the reason but don't tell him or let him know that i tell you,"

Alexia and Gulf nodded. Jom sighed once again and started telling the reason why. "I was 5 that time while our brother, Mew is 8. Mew is very friendly though he kinda look like a nerd. He had thick glasses and always had a book with him and braces. We're at the playground that time, and Dad is with us. Mew is reading on the swing but then some kids went on our direction. I stood up to call dad because he went to our car. But then, i saw them bullying Mew. They broke his glasses, they ripped every page of his favorite book. They even puch his in the sand box harshly that Mew got bruised. Our brother had a sensitive skin. Mom was so worried when we came back home. Mew had a bruises in both of his ankles and knees," Jom explained. Gulf couldn't help but to feel worried to Mew. He somehow feel  of getting on their back for hurting and bullying Mew.

"So that's the reason why.."

"Yeah!! So what?! It's now done!!," Mew suddenly yelled angrily. Alexia and Jom bit his lower lip while Gulf looked at him worriedly. Mew turned at Jom. "I told you to not tell anyone, aside from mom and dad!,"

"It's Gulf! He won't tell it to anyone! I-Im sure he won't," Jom said.

"Yeah," Mew tsked. He dashed off and went to the kitchen.

Jom shook his head. "I-I think you shouldn't tell us," Alexia said. She's scared when Mew is mad.

"Don't worry, it's fine. Just don't tell anyone," Jom just said. Even she is scared too.

Gulf stood up and went to follow Mew on the kitchen. He knew the reason now why and he want Mew to realize something. That he shouldn't be a bully too. Even though he wants to hunt those kids down. He wants to laugh and smack himself for that.

"Mew.." he saw Mew drinking coke in a can. He looks mad.

"What? Why are you here? If you're here because you feel pity for me, then go. I don't need it." Mew said, not looking at Gulf. He hate it. He doesn't need those.

But Gulf went beside him and was about to put a hand on his shoulder, but instead, he pulled him into a hug, shocking Mew to core. "W-Wh—,"

"Just let me hug you." Gulf said and hug him tight.

Mew tried to protest. "W-What the— I don't—!,"

"How dare they bully you?," Gulf asked in a low voice. "How dare they turned you into this,"

Gulf's voice is low and dangerous that it sends shiver on Mew's spine. And his heart is beating fast because of Gulf's words. "W-What are you talking?," Mew tried to asked.

Gulf slowly pulled away from the hug and caressed his cheek. He want to protest but somehow, he likes it. "I want to hunt those who hurt you,"

Mew snickered. "Are you crazy? Why would you do that?," Gulf shook his head like he don't know why. "Tsk, shut it. You're being crazy."

"Let's just say, i care," Gulf just said.

"Really?," Mew asked sarcastically. Gulf nod. "W-Wh—stop doing that!," Mew protested. Gulf is rubbing his cheek with his thumb.

"Are you sure? You looks like you're enjoying it," Gulf said so Mew pushed him away. "Stay away from me!," Mew just said. He took a deep breath to calm his heart and was about to continue drinking his coke when his eyes saw a lizard on the wall.

Gulf couldn't help but to giggle when Mew jump near him. He looked at the lizard. "It's just a lizard though.." he mumbled.

"Take it away, take it away," Mew mumbled, afraid of the lizard that might get near him.

"Mmm, i will." Gulf moved but Mew went on his back and held the hem of his shirt like his life depends on it. Gulf just giggled and coo at his cuteness.

He went took the broom near the refrigerator and use it to shoo the lizard. Thankfully the lizard go away.

"They're disgusting," Mew said. He realized how he act when he saw it so he immediately distance himself to Gulf.

Gulf couldn't help but to chuckle, remembering what happened. "Shut up!," Mew said, annoyed.

"What? I'm not doing anything," he said.

"Your laugh is annoying," Mew tsked. Gulf stopped laughing. Mew just snorted and went off when he saw Gulf suppressing his laughter.

"Mew!,"

"Talk to the wall!,"

Ah, he's really cute. Fuck, he's adorable.
