Winter sighed deeply as he looked at his partner, (I/n). He groaned loudly in order to get their attention. He looked at them again. Nothing. Winter frowned.
He has been trying to get their attention for a while now. The (s/c) IceWing is really focused in their work at the moment. Winter knew how important work was, but he was getting quite lonely. He really needed their (e/c) eyes on him and their full attention. Nothing else. Only boyfriend.
(I/n) had been working for a couple of hours now. They haven't taken any breaks since they've started. Winter wants them to take a break and gave him all of their attention. Winter needs to make sure that his partner takes care of themself.
Winter huffed at (I/n). (I/n) only flicked their (s/c) tail and continued to focus on their work.
" Babe! ", Winter whined loudly.
(I/n) didn't look away from the table.
" Love! ", Winter barked, a bit louder.
Again. Nothing. No reaction from (I/n), other than a flick of wing, ear, or tail. Winter growled and huffed.
" Come on! ", He grumbled.
Winter frustratedly stomped over to the (s/c) IceWing's desk. He peered over their cold (s/c) shoulder. Many small scrolls were scattered on the surface of the desk. Ink blots had stained the wooden surface and some of the scrolls.
" Come on, love. You need to take a break. You've been working for hours. It's not healthy for you. Now, come on, you need to take a break. ", Winter told them with a bit of concern in his voice.
" But I need to finish this! ", (I/n) protested, their (e/c) eyes not moving away from their papers.
" No, you don't! You need a break! And frankly, I don't appreciate when work steals my beautiful lover away from me! ", Winter argued.
" No! ", (I/n) shouted.
Winter frowned and growled a bit. He quickly snatched the papers away from (I/n).
" Hey! ", (I/n) snapped.
Winter kept the papers away from them. After a long while of trying to get their papers back, (I/n) gave up.
" Fine! Fine! I'll take a break! ", They growled.
" Good. ", Winter said with a small smile on his face.
Then, Winter went back to (I/n)'s desk and placed the papers back down in a neat pile.
(I/n) was on the bed with their talons crossed. Winter slithered into bed next to them. He curled himself around them and snuggled into their (s/c) scales. (I/n) huffed at him, angrily. He chuckled at them.
" Admit it, you love me ~ ", Winter cooed.
(I/n) puffed out their cheeks. A blue blush appeared on them. Then, the (s/c) IceWing sighed deeply. A smile rose across their face as their boyfriend became affectionate with them.
" You right. You right. ", (I/n) admitted.
