With the privious update and comments, I understood that there are no much VAni fans are left here. But also, respecting the comments and their choice I'll be writing the next book as a Fanfiction only, just as experiment. And may be it will be my last shot for VAni (may be). Lets face the fact. I know general Fiction takes hell lot of a time for a writer to be recognised, specially in such a big ocean of good writers and readers. But it has to start somewhere.

Anyway, let enjoy when it's still there. And this book will definitely be there forever and will be my favourite spot to come back.

Over-dramatic much?

Happy reading...!

Bani and baby was discharged from the hospital after 5 days post delivery.

Bani had layed on the bed and Veer was sitting beside her caressing her hair.

"Baba" Rey walked blabbering along side Meera as he held her index finger with his whole palm.

"Yes, Rey, Baby, Baby sister, kaise ho Bani?"

"Me teek hu, Hi Rey, come here" he stood beside the bed near her and she turned around to hug him while she was still laying down.

"Rey Baby ko dekhoge?" He nodded his head excitedly.

"Dhyan se Rey," Meera said.

Bani sat and Rey claimed on her lap.

"Dyan se Bani, " Meera again showed her concern.

Rey touched baby's forehead carefully not to wake her up, "mama, Baba"

He said showing his mom that he is touching his sister.

"Kuch chahiye Bani?"

"Nai di"

"Chalo Reyansh, masi ko sone do, ajaou!" She carried Rey in her arms and walked out "kuch chahiye tho bula le na ok!"

"Ji"

The time passed with a zoop and it was three months since Viha was born, there were many challenges as new parents for Veer and Bani.

Veer and Bani found themselves in a whirlwind of baby diapers, sleepless nights, and adorable baby giggles. Veer attempted to soothe Viha's cries with his rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," while Bani perfected her ninja-like diaper changing skills.

One evening, as they sat exhausted on the bed, Bani turned to Veer with a weary smile. "Sach me batana, ab tume lagata hai ki hum ab kabhi so payenge?"

Veer chuckled, rubbing his tired eyes. "Maybe when Viha goes off to college."

Just then, Viha let out a loud wail, causing both parents to jump up in a panic. They rushed to her crib, only to find her giggling mischievously, clearly enjoying the attention.

Bani sighed, a mix of frustration and amusement in her voice. "Vihaaa... She's got us wrapped around her tiny finger, nautanki! "

Veer grinned, leaning in to give Bani a quick kiss. "Absolutely, but I wouldn't have it any other way."

As they settled back on the bed carring Viha, a sudden realization dawned on Veer. "Waise kaise hogi ye badi hokar, tumari tarah ziddi ya mere tarah cool?"

"Me ziddi hu?" She glared him,and hit him on his shoulder.

"But, Knowing our luck, she'll probably be a perfect blend of both."

Just then, a loud crash echoed from the kitchen, followed by the sound of breaking glass. Veer and Bani exchanged a horrified glance before darting towards the noise, their hearts pounding with fear.

The kitchen was a scene of utter chaos. Flour dusted the countertops, eggs lay shattered on the floor, and a trail of sticky jam led to where Reyansh sat on floor, happily smearing mashed bananas all over his face.

Veer and Bani stood frozen in the doorway, taking in the mess with wide-eyed disbelief. And Meera was boling angry, Bani's voice trembled as she spoke. "What... what happened here?"

Veer shook his head in disbelief. " Aisa lagta hai ki food flood aya hai kitch me" he uttered gaining a glare from Meera who was trying to carry a messy Reyansh.

Just then, Viha let out a gleeful squeal, oblivious to the chaos her brother had caused. Bani couldn't help but smile at her daughter's innocence, despite the mess.

"Ab, ye danger zone ko clean kare?" Chandra asked, "Meera tum Rey ko le ke jaou, shantiii" she called for the house help.

Bani nodded, determination flashing in her eyes. "Teek hai. But what about  capturing this moment? " She smiled sheepishly while Viha gleed again. "See Vani ko bhi manzoor hai" bani added.

"Bas do mint ke liye gayi thi me, aur Bhai Saab ko dekho, kya karu me iska"

Bani handed Viha to her father and quickly grabbed her phone and snapped a quick photo of Rey covered in food, a memory they would surely laugh about in the years to come.

As the house help cleaned the kitchen, Veer and Bani sat laughing and joking as they scrubbed and swept.

As they collapsed onto the bed, Veer wrapped his arm around Bani's shoulders. "Well, that was an adventure."

Bani leaned into him, smiling tiredly. "Definitely one for the books."

They layed down on the bed and Bani made Viha lay in between them. And Bani was feeding her milk while Viha kicked and played with her own toes as she discovered the new belongings she had.

Veer looked at Bani who had a smile on her lips with eyes closed , her left hand placed gently on Viha's abdomen while she still sucked on her mother's nipple. He loved the scene he was witnessing. He loved this phase, the insecurities and don'ts he had where long lost. He was now looking forward for his life as a father.

And as they drifted off to sleep that night, they knew that this will be the phase and moment that is awaiting for them in the future and no matter what challenges parenthood threw their way, they would face them together, with love, laughter, and plenty of baby wipes.
