"Good morning, happy birthday baby"

"Ooou...Damn you sound sexy" I blush, holding up the phone to my ear.

She laughs. "You coming to school today?"

"Nah. My sister and I are going out"

"Oh. Hope you have fun"

"Yeah. But since I'm 18 now...I was thinking about planning something"

"Like what?"

"I wanna rent a hotel room, just for the two of us. So this way...we can have some alone time, you know"

"Mmm. When?"

"Today...since its Friday night and no school tomorrow"

"Okay, just um call me when you get it set up"

"Aight. I'll see you later"

"Okay" she says before hanging up.

*2:10 pm*

"Look at my baby, all grown up now" he hugs me.

"Yeah" I smile.

"Your a young woman now babe. Your not a kid anymore"

"Yeah, it's crazy right dad"

"Shit, who you telling...I have no more little ones left. Y'all all grown now, but it's okay. I'm proud of y'all"

"Thanks dad"

"Happy birthday baby" he kisses my forehead.

"Thanks" I hug him again.

"Okay I won't hold yall, y'all be safe driving okay"

"We will" I say, since Brianna won't even look his way.

"Love you Brianna" he says, letting me go.

"I know" she walks out.

He sighs. "Go have fun babe..."

"You okay?"

"I'm fine"

"Oh. Aight dad, see you later. And oh remember to get the room please"

"I will"

*5 minutes later*

I look over, watching Brianna as she drives us to my "surprise". But what I really wanted to know was what's up with her and daddy.

"Hey...what's up with you and dad?"

"Nothing"

"Bull shit..." I chuckle.

"Its nothing..."

"Brianna..."

"What?"

"Tell me" I turn to her.

"He told me I couldn't be with Jacob anymore because he doesn't like him now"

"Damn. What happened?"

"Daddy punched him is what happened. But Jacob was in the wrong too by even trying our dad. But I know he didn't mean it...he was just pissed at me foreal foreal"
