Beginning of a New Era

It was a new day and Bonnie was in the library with Kol, Danny and Davina so they could try to track the coffins, meaning they had to find a way to unlock their localization and then figure where they were, that was while Rebekah went to talk with Esther.

"Rebekah, you're back. Did you make your decision?" Esther asked.

"I'm still thinking. It's just. I have this question who is kinda bugging me." Rebekah said. "What is going to happen to my original body?"

"It will be in a coffin in a protected places so no one can destroy it. If we just let the coffin out there it would be easy for people to just destroy it. Or maybe to even transfer themselves to the body so they could be stronger, which would bring simply more chaos and none of us want that." Esther lied.

"Where is that coffin?"

"Why does that matter? I put it in a safe place and I put a spell so people wouldn't be able to locate it." Esther said.

"Okay. But I want to see which coffin my body will stay in if I decide to accept your offer. I don't want to be in just some awful coffin, I want to be elegant and to make sure it is, I want to see it." Rebekah said.

"Alright." Esther gave up, then went to the car with Rebekah and snap her neck.

Rebekah woke up laying down in a hardwood floor, making her look at her mother angry.

"What the bloody hell were you thinking? I could kill you now, you know?" Rebekah said very angry.

"I apologize, my daughter. I didn't want to suffer any risks." Esther said then pointed to the opened coffin, it was brown outside but the interior was white and had a pillow.

Rebekah walked over to the coffin and grabbed the pillow, then started to see how was inside.

"What are you doing?"

"Even if I won't be in my body, I want to make sure it's comfortable." Rebekah said with a smile, making Esther roll her eyes.

When Rebekah noticed Esther wasn't looking, Rebekah put the phone she got on the way to go talk with Esther and hide it on the coffin like Caroline asked her too.

"Okay. I'm ready to go home." Rebekah said.

Rebekah was now back in the Quarter and told everyone how she went to see the coffin Esther was planning on putting her.

"Alright. I'm done listening to how the white pillow was comfortable. Where is that coffin?" Klaus asked.

"Mother snap my neck before we go and before we came back."

"Of course." Klaus said upset.

"Did you do what I asked you to?" Caroline asked, making Klaus look at her confused.

"Yeah. But I still think it was a really weird request."

"It's pretty simple, actually. I remembered that Elijah is awful with phones to the point of not knowing when it's filming or when it's taking picture, so I imagined your mother being even worst with technology."

"I'm not that awful. I now use those yellow faces." Elijah defended himself.

"They are called emojis." Elena whispered.

"Yes, the emo-things." Elijah said and Elena couldn't help but smile because she found very adorable how Elijah had so much difficulties with technology.

"Don't interrupt my Queen." Klaus said and quickly everyone looked at Caroline with full attention.

"Thank you, Nik." Caroline said with a smile and gave a peck on Klaus's cheek, making him smirk. "So... Esther might have think about using magic to stop us from knowing the location but now that Rebekah put a phone in there we can easily track it. It will take seconds."

"How?" Klaus asked confused.

"Find my iPhone." Caroline said while using her phone and then said. "And here it is. Now we just need to do the same thing to the other coffins and there you go. Now, if you excuse me, I'm gonna get a blood bag."

"Isn't she amazing?" Klaus said with a smirk.

"Yeah, when she's being the boss and you her little puppy." Kol said with a smirk.

"I love women who are in charge." Klaus said and quickly went after Caroline.

"It's been years and he is still a lost puppy around her." Rebekah said.

"Our brother is happy. You shouldn't make fun of him for that. Or maybe we should talk about how you are around Bonnie." Elijah said and Kol quickly gave Elijah a death glare.

"I think I should wait until I go talk with mother about my coffin. So I won't create many suspicions." Kol said.

Elijah and Elena went back to the living room, Elijah reading a book while Elena was making a quiz on some magazine.

"Elena..." Elijah whispered, making Elena stop making the quiz and look at him.

"Yeah?"

"After all these problems are over, would you... Never mind. You have more interesting and important things to care about." Elijah said, trying to focus again on his book.

"Lijah, you can talk to me. What is it?" Elena said with a small smile.

"I have been noticing that technology has been improving more and more and that is becoming very important for people, so... I was wondering if you could help me in understanding better in how to use it."

"Of course! I would love that." Elena said excited. "It will be so fun!"

"Thank you for taking time to help me." Elijah said with a smile.

"Of course. I'm more than happy to help, My Lord." Elena said with a smile and he kissed her.

"Elena... Do you feel embarrassed when I am not aware of some of the things that Caroline talks about when it's technology related?"

"Of course not. I actually find you cute when you are a bit out of your comfort zone. I think it's when people can see the real you. Besides, it makes me see that it's only you who gets to teach me stuff, I can also do the same for you. And that's good because that way we can still learn things from each other. You taught me how to be more calm and how to be more in control and I can teach you things from nowadays that you aren't completely perfect at."

Soon there will be a dinner with Esther where she tries to convince them to be human bc I think it would be easier than to have her finding Elijah and Klaus alone so she would appear.
