Setsuko and I returned to my brother's room. I glanced around, looking to see if Mr. Bun or Azar's angel tool were around.

"Uh, Setty..." I said.

"Yes?" Setsuko asked as she looked underneath big bro's bed.

"Can an angel who is gravely hurt be summoned again?"

She raised her head up and smiled. "Yeah. A guardian angel can't die. Well, at least not that I've heard. But I do know that if they get hurt too much, it can result in the angel tool getting damaged. If it does, summoning can become difficult, or even impossible. Hopefully, that's not the case with your angel tool. If it is, then I recommend asking Kohri."

"Kohri? He's the redhead, right?"

"Yeah. He's my maternal cousin."

"Oh. Ya got two Seven Hills as cousins?"

"Yeah. Though I don't really see your brother as my cousin."

I laughed. "Is it because ya engaged?"

She coughed. "No. It's just that we aren't close at all."

"Oh. Uh, do ya see me as ya cousin?" I asked.

Setty laughed. She jumped into the bed and hugged me as I looked over big bro's nightstand. "Of course! Unlike Serrano, you're cute and lovable!"

I giggled. "Big bro is lovable and cute too."

She let go of me gave me a deadpan look. "Seriously?"

"Yeah, just give him a cookie."

She furrowed her brow. "A cookie?"

I snickered. "Just try it, and ya'll see."

"Okay, if you say so." She glanced around the room. "I'm starting to think that we won't find a thing here. Maybe he took the angel tool with him."

"What about Mr. Bun?" I asked, frowning. I stared at the pillow. If big bro had it, he probably would've put it beside me as I slept.

"Want to go check by the entrance of town? Or maybe the police station. They have a lost and found section there."

I sniffed. "W-what if it was thrown away? Or what I destroyed Mr. Bun?" I asked, closing my eyes.

"Hey, don't think of the worse. I'm sure that we'll find Mr. Bun in one piece!"

"Okay," I said, opening my eyes slowly.

My future sis-in-law patted my head. "Don't give up hope without trying."
