Baam Pov

The next day, I woke up to the sunlight poking at my eyes. The alarm clock on the nightstand was completely broken and squashed like a bug- probably due to Cece. She wasn't a morning person. Well, Demon.

Her body was curled up against mine, resting peacefully.

I couldn't help but dislike the fact that she would never have a single mark on her by the time I woke up. And I'd even went so far as to make sure to leave extra this time... Unlike how I had Cece's Demon mark on my neck, anything that I'd leave for her on her neck (or otherwise) would be gone in a matter of minutes or hours.

Quietly getting up from bed, I got myself a quick shower and made breakfast for the two of us. Cece liked meats and fruits. She also liked eating her vegetables- but only if they were cooked.

Back when we first started dating, Cece confessed that she was bad at cooking food. You can never go wrong with cooking humans, she'd say. But food? Food was a completely different matter.

"Ah, you're awake. I'm making us some bacon, eggs, and grilled cheese. How are you feeling?" I asked, noticing Cece's dishevelled state.

Her long white hair was messy, and she'd just wrapped the blanket around herself instead of deciding to go on the search for her clothes. They were on the floor somewhere around the room, along with my robe and shirt.

"I'm feeling a bit sore, but that'll go away once I get my hot shower. Make sure to eat all of your food, Baam. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday afternoon. It's practically a miracle how you lasted this long. For a human, your stamina is ridiculous." Cece grumbled lightly, although I could hear the worry in her voice.

"I will," I replied, giving her a small smile.

"Hm."

"Cece?"

"Hm?"

"You know that I love you, right?"

"I love you too, Baam. You'll always be my little Cuddlecake- no, Cinnabun. Last time I asked, you liked Cinnabun better."

I laughed lightly. I treasured all of these small and peaceful moments with her. Cece grabbed her bathrobe and walked into the bathroom, leaving the blanket on the floor. By now, watching the objects organize themselves and clean themselves was pretty normal. While Cece used the shower, she'd let her cleaning magic take care of the mess.

Setting out two plates filled with some fruit, grilled cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon, I sat down and began to enjoy my tranquil morning- well, afternoon.

"The Test begins at 3 PM, right?" Cece asked, having gotten out of the shower in record time.

"Uh-huh. It's 1 PM right now, so after eating, we can pack up, finish our paperwork, submit it, and go to the Test site."

"Sounds good."

Ja Wangnan Pov

"THE OBJECTIVE OF THE TEST IS SURVIVAL. A TOTAL OF TEN REGULARS WILL ENTER THE ARENA, ONE AT A TIME, EVERY THREE MINUTES. WHOEVER IS LEFT STANDING AND ALIVE BY THE END OF THE 30-MINUTE PERIOD WILL PASS." The Announcer explained.

Alright. I'll pass this test for sure!! I told myself. You're the man that'll become the future King of the Tower, Ja Wangnan!!

"THE REGULARS IN THE ARENA MAY USE ANY METHOD THEY DEEM NECESSARY TO GET RID OF EACH OTHER AND ALL REGULARS WHO ARE DEEMED UNABLE TO FIGHT ANY LONGER WILL BE FAILED AND BE TAKEN OUT OF THE ARENA."

The second I pass through this door, I'll make myself seem tough and-

"THE ORDER OF REGULARS BEING PUT INTO THE ARENA IS RANDOM, AND THERE ARE NO COMPENSATIONS FOR PENALTIES CAUSED BY ORDER OF REGULARS BEING PUT INTO THE ARENA."

"REGULAR NUMBER 1023, JA WANGNAN. PLEASE START YOUR TEST."

CREAK-

I closed my eyes, ran into the Arena, and screamed on top of my lungs.

"YEAH!! COME AND GET ME YOU WEAK-ASS BITCHES!! I'M JA WANGNAN, THE CRAZY DOG OF THIS AREA-!!"

Huh?

Why are they here? And what's with all the bodies on the ground?

I wasn't told that my loud-sex neighbours were Regulars too!!

What the hell is going on?!

~~~ /// ~~~ \\\ ~~~
Well, they are Regulars, and they're pretty much your only hope at passing this Floor with all of your organs intact.
I apologize for the long wait once again!! I don't know why I ever thought that Data Management in Online Summer School would be a good idea- it's like all Hell on Earth.
