Scarlet all of a sudden found that her feet were the most interesting things she had ever seen. She abruptly looked up when Lupin spoke.
"Scarlet..." He spoke softly, "If you want to call me dad you can however I am a danger to you."
"So am I, were both sitting in the same boat..." She smiled weakly.
"Yes but still..."
"I know..." Her feet were interesting again.
"Scarlet, do you know who bit your mother?" He too looked down at his feet.
"No, she never told me."
"I knew your mother Scarlet when she was in Hogwarts, she wasn't very fond of James and Sirius, and Peter disgusted her."
"Really what about you?" She looked a bit interested.
"Please forgive me but I was the one who bit your mother..." He looked away.
Within a second Scarlet ran around the table that separated them and hugged Lupin tightly. Lupin was definitely shocked at this. Scarlet whispered ever so softly, Lupin noticed that she sounded exactly like Lenora when she whispered like this.
"Thank you dad..."
