Chapter 65 - Empire state of mind

Y/N'S POV

"So she really didn't tell you where she wants to take you?"
"No i told you, she just told me to bring something sexy" i reply while trying to close the suitcase
"Oh it's going to be a very wild night my dear" Cassie jokes on the other end of the phone
"Stop it" i scold her
"Ok ok even if you'll have to tell me all the details when i get back"
"Even if i i say no i know you'll force me anyway so" i say smiling
"Smart girl" she affirms and we both laughing
"You're happy with her aren't you?" my best friend asks me
"So much Cas, there's no words to explain what i feel with her" i don't even realize that i'm lost in my thoughts when i hear a knock on the door.
"Uhm Cas i think it's Lizzie, sorry i have to hang up" i warn her
"Don't worry, see you soon. Have a good trip, get drunk, fuck a lot and start this new year in a great way!" she says and we both burst out laughing.
I greet her and then immediately run to open the door.
"Good morning beauty" says the wonderful woman in front of me, i don't hesitate even for a second and i pull myself on her lips that without waiting she opens to allow our tongues to intertwine in a wonderful dance.
"Good morning little bear" i whisper
"Someone missed me" she teases me
"Maybe a little bit" i smiling and back to kiss her
"Okay okay babe, but we have to go, there will be time for this don't worry" she winks at me
"Fine...there's the presents for Julian?" i ask looking at the big box and the bag on her side.
"Mmm yes, should we give it to him?"
"Yes let's go, he will be so happy for this" i intrerwine my hand with hers and go to Tessa's apartment.

I knock on the door and after a few seconds a little Julian in pajamas and still sleepy opens it for us.
"Lizzie!" the little one runs to hug her, Lizzie takes him in her arms and the two rub their noses both laughing.
Ok my heart just melted
"Oh i guess you love her more than me now" i say pretending to be offended
"I love you too sooo much, i love both of you and i'm happy to see you together" says the little one extending his arms towards me and hugging my neck.
Lizzie and i look at each other and smile.
"Hey little one, we got something for you" Lizzie says putting him down and going to get the pack to drag it towards Julian.
"It's a gift?" he questions surprised
"Yes little bear, we're sorry we didn't give it to you for Christmas but we hope you'll forgive us with this" i explain.
Julian unpacks his gift and seeing his eyes light up as soon as he understands what we gave him fills my heart with joy.
I know how much he likes to ride with me so we decided to give him a motorcycle for kids.
"So you like it?" i ask curious
"Yes, i love it!" he runs to hug us and we both pick him up.
"I love you so much" says the little one
"We do too honey" Lizzie replies giving him a kiss in his hair
"Oh i think Lizzie wants to give you one more thing" i say and the little one looks at Lizzie curiously
"Oh yeah, well you told me your favorite superhero is Captain America right?" Lizzie asks and the little one nods
"Even if you're more powerful" he points out making Lizzie smile
"Well he gave me something for you" she says
handing him the bag, he opens it to find a Captain America shield autographed by Chris Evans.
"I'm so happy now! You are the best in the world" he says happily.
"You deserve it honey, you're our little hero" Lizzie says.
"When we get back, i'll teach you how to ride the bike, okay?" I tell him and he nods
"Come on, run and show your mum the gifts" Lizzie hugs him and i do the same.
We say goodbye to him and Tessa who thanks us and then go back to my apartment.
"Ready babe?" She asks hugging me from behind
"You won't tell me where we're going right?" i ask her
"You'll find out soon" she whispers, teasing the hollow of my shoulder
"Not so soon if you continue like this" i point out and feel her chuckle against my skin
"You're right, better go or i'll end up fucking you" she says slapping my ass
"Oh aggressive" i comment and she gives me a smirk
"Anyway, i missed coming here" she says referring to my apartment and kissing my head.
She walks to the door and i look at her smiling like a fool.
