Chapter 99

Mahi's POV

My dad asked him why he didn't approach him through his parents as it was the easiest way but he said that he didn't want to take the easy way out, and he didn't want Dad to accept the request just because it came through his best friend, he said and went out after saying a few more words.

Both mom and I were standing there like statues years impressed by him and shocked that he suffered so much. I felt guilty that I thought he could ever hurt me. I passed so many satires at him when I was supposed to hug and kiss him. No one could ever love me so much, I literally didn't know how to face him after what I heard. He faced my hatred and sarcastic remarks when he loved me so much. I was literally crying and rushed to my room. My mom followed me. 

She asked me to wash my face and get ready as we had to go and meet him and his family. Mom called Priya Aunty and told her to reach their home with uncle as she needed to talk to them immediately.

Mom and I reached Ron's place. Mom asked me to go and talk to him while she waited there. I rushed to his room but was shocked to see Pavni there. She was trying to get very close to Ron and he was telling her to get off.

" What is your problem, I told you, I am not interested in you?  " he was saying and looking so cute, trying to get away from a girl that I had this strong urge to record it as I wanted to see this scene again and again. So I started recording it.

" But we used to get along so well, we should give our relationship a chance and get married," she said.

" Are you dumb or what? Which part of my reply is not clear to you?? I am not interested in you, as I am already in a relationship with someone ever since you left here and I have been in love with her even before that. So please don't waste your time and efforts on me because I am committed to my relationship. " Ron said.

Awwww!! My fake Casanova is only in love with me.

" Who is she? Is she more beautiful and sexy than me?? I want to meet her... I am sure she is not as good as me. " she said.

What is her problem??

" Looks don't matter... I would not even give a second look to the most beautiful woman in the world.  For me she is the only girl in the world that sets me on fire, my heart beats only for her and she is the only one I love and going to marry. " he said.

Oh, God!! He will kill me with his love.

" You are lying, there is no one, if you are in love with why are you still single? C'mon... Let's give our relationship a chance. " Pavni asked going towards him.

" What relationship?? We never had any relationship. " Ron said getting back as she was going towards him.

" So why were you flirting with me all those years back? "  She asked.

"  Excuse me!! You were flirting with me, and I never gave you any indication that I was interested in you. It was you who followed me everywhere." He retorted.

" How can you leave me for another girl? I would not allow you to leave me like that. I am going to tell my parents that we were in a relationship and I want to get married to you as my parents want me to settle down and you are my best option. " She said.

Option?? This is too much.

" What the hell!! You know there has never been anything between us, just because I didn't stop your flirting but I had my reasons for it. that doesn't mean that we were in a relationship. I never touched you or gave you any reason to think that we were together.  "  he said.

" Yes, I know but our parents would listen to me and will get us married,"  she said. Before Ron could react, I barged in and came to stand between them.

" Never in this lifetime. Back off!! "

" Mahi?? " Ron was surprised to see me.

" Enough of your bullshit!! Stay away from him or I will break that dirty hand of yours. " I said.

" Who are you?? " she asked.

" I am his girlfriend, and you better stay away from him or I will kill you. " I said.

" She is your girlfriend?? Oh, please, there is no comparison between us, she is so plain and boring and I am hot, beautiful, and sexy," she said to him.

" Mind your words!! " Ron came forward and glared as if he was threatening him. I placed my hand on his chest to stop him and then came to stand between them again.

" But he still wants me, not you. Now get lost and find some other man for yourself, this one is mine, has always been... And will always be till I am alive. " I said as I was getting very annoyed with the girl.

" Awww... I love you my tigress. " Ron said and pulled me in his arms from the backside. I felt very good but I didn't even want to see her.

" What are you waiting for?? Leave!! " I yelled at her. And she went out after stomping her foot. I turned to face him and caught his injured hand in mine.

" Wow!! I love this avatar of yours," he said with a broad grin.

" What?? Why are you smiling?? She was flirting with you, why couldn't you tell her to stay away firmly?? Must be disappointed that I came on time to disturb both of you. "  I faked an angry look.

" Not at all, I loved it, but just about an hour back, you had forgotten that you are my girlfriend now, and went away with that Daanav ditching me, why?? "  he got serious again.

" Daanav?"

" That idiot from the US, who has nothing else to do but come here and flirt with you in front of me," he said looking so cute.

" His name is Aarav. And I am sorry, I was happy as I met him after so long, and I wanted to take a leave and spend some time with him as he has come here just to meet me. "  I replied with a calm smile.

" I wanted to beat him for playing that song for you and calling you a doll. How dare he flirt with you. I swear, I wanted to beat him to a pulp. "  he said and clenched his fist again and winced.

" You are such an idiot!! What have you done to yourself? It must be hurting so much... "  I said caressing his wound lightly over the bandage.

" No, not as much as it hurt me when you went away with that Daanav ignoring me. "

" Ron, I swear to God, he is just a normal friend of mine. Just a friend, not more than that. I have loved only you in my entire life. He wanted to show me something and I went with him and as soon as I realized that I left you there with Mom and Dad, I came back and got to know that you crushed the glass in your hand. Don't ever hurt yourself again. You belong to me, and it hurts me to see you in pain. " I said and he pulled me in his arms and kissed me very tenderly and I raised myself on the tips of my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck and responded to his kiss.

He smiled while kissing me and picked me up in my arms without breaking the kiss. He kept kissing me for a few seconds and I knew that if I was standing on my foot at the moment, I would have fallen because my legs were turning to jelly.  He broke the kiss when we started having trouble breathing.

" I love you, Mahi. Trust me, I have only loved you in my life. "  He said and I nodded and hugged him.
