Chapter 58- Meiko's birthday part 4

Masashi's story continues -

It been about 15 hours and the race just started, Meiko and I was watching the horses racing each other.

"Navada, you better win!" I shouted.

"Navada?" Meiko asked.

"That's the name of horse number 7, Navada." I said.

"That's a cool name for a horse." Meiko said.

"Yeah, he's Yuki's favorite horse number." I said.

"And you're betting on his horse?" Meiko asked.

I chuckled at her.

"Don't worry, what whatever amount of money we get, we'll split it with him 50-50." I said.

Meiko smiled at me as she nodded her head.

"My Lord, look." Tanaka said as he pointed his finger at one of the horses.

"And the winner is horse number 7 Navada!" The announcer guy said.

"OH YEAH! I WON THE BET, GIVE ME MY MONEY BITCH!" I roared as I ran out of the V.I.P section of the race track, leaving Meiko and Tanaka in shock. Haha!

After the race was over, Meiko had a destination that she wanted to go to.

"Well Meiko, is there anywhere you want to go before we go to the movies?" I asked her.

"Can we go somewhere to get something to eat?" She asked.

"Yes, I already made reservations for lunch earlier this morning." I said.

"You did? Where are we going?" Meiko asked surprisingly.

"I'll show you." I answered.

Meanwhile on the otherside of town:

Kamijo's story -

"Kamijo, are you following them?" Yuki asked.

"Yeah, I'm following them." I answered.

"Where are they going now?" Yuki asked.

"I don't know, it looks like they're going to some expensive restaurant." I said.

"Aww snap! If they're going to 5Ds restaurant, I'm calling Jenny." Yuki said.

"Now's not the time for that Yuki, we have to keep our eyes opened on them and see if Natalia is going to seek vengeance on Masashi." I said.

"Oh right." Yuki said.

Back to Masashi's story -

"Here we are, welcome to 5Ds Den." I said to Meiko.

"Oh wow! What a beautiful place." Meiko said.

"Tanaka, stand guard out here." I said.

"Yes, my Lord." He said.

"Shall we go inside my lady?" I asked.

She smiled at me and took my arm as we entered inside the restaurant.

"Ah! Lord Masashi." Yosuke said.

"Hello Yosuke." I said.

"It's so good to see you, how are you?" He asked me.

"I'm okay." I answered.

"You two know each other?" Meiko asked.

Yosuke looked at her.

"Are you Anzu?" He asked.

"Yosuke, this is not Anzu, this is Meiko Watanabe, my new girlfriend." I said.

"Oh I see, she's so beautiful, but what happened Anzu?" He asked.

"She died two months ago in hit and run accident." I answered.

"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that." Yosuke said as he heard the news about Anzu's death, his cheerful face turned soured to me.

"Thanks." I said while trying to put on a happy face for Meiko on her birthday.

"You're welcome, well this isn't no time for me to be sad right now, you're here to see I still have your reservation." Yosuke said.

"Yes, today is my girlfriend Meiko's birthday." I said.

Yosuke looked at Meiko.

"Well happy birthday beautiful." He said to her.

"Thank you." Meiko said as she started blushing.

I wanted to tell him off about getting too attached to her because she's my girlfriend just like I told everyone else, but I had to play it cool for Meiko and not embarrass her on her birthday.

Yosuke looked at the computer system, grabbed two menus and showed us to our table.

"Here your menus and your waiter will be right with you." He said as he walked away.

"So what do you think about this place, are you happy that I brought you here?" I asked Meiko.

"It's awesome, I never been here before." She said.

"Really? So this must be your first time here." I said surprisingly.

"Yeah, I never been to a place that looked so expensive." Meiko said.

"You should try the food here, they makes some good food." I said.
