*Louis' POV*

"So you'll bring Niall?"

"Yeah."

"But if you bring him isn't his friend going to tag along?" He's right. If anything I'll probably end up being the third wheel between the two of them.

"You mean Alex?"

"Is that her name?"

"Yeah, he introduced us both today before lunch. She's really nice and he seems to really like her by how shy he was with her." I sigh in realization that I'll be along sitting in the corner at the party. I don't get why Harry wouldn't want to be seen with me. After all it's not like everyone is going assume he's gay just because he's with a guy. They didn't suspect that from him from when he would hang out with Sam by what I've been told.

"I mean I guess we could hang out together?" He says while putting on some sleeping shorts and a plain white tee.

"Really?" I ask him, trying to hide my enthusiasm behind his suggestion.

"It's not like we'll hold hands or anything. Just two dudes who are out to party, supposedly." He walks over to his bed where I'm sitting down on and lays down.

"So we have five days to buy Zayn a birthday present." I point out. It's always been a thing that my mum has taught me throughout the years. She says it's rude to not buy at least a small gift to whoever the special occasion is for. Even in funerals she'd bring the family something to make them feel better. She says it's always nice to give even if they don't give back.

"Present?" He sits up and throws his head back in laughter. "The only present we're going to bring is either vodka or some beer."

"Come on, he'll appreciate it I'm sure." At least I think I'm sure. Zayn does seem like the type that don't give a damn about things like that.

"We're taking a bottle of vodka, that's it. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Anyway, um my mum said if you'd want to have dinner with us?"

"Just you and her?" I slap myself in the face in my thoughts. That was a dumb question, of course it's just him and his mum.

"Basically, so yes or no?" He stands up from the bed and open the door.

"Loved to."

I follow Harry downstairs and into the dining room where his mum has already set up the table.

"Hi Ms.-" Harry's mum stops me from calling her by the appropriate name.

"Call me Anne. You've really grown up haven't you?"

"It's a part of life isn't it?" Anne and I both laugh in unison. Harry glares at me and I sit down on the chair of the round dinning table.

"I made some lasagna, family recipe." She winks at me as she places the pan of lasagna on to the table. Steam is seen escaping through the top of it.

Harry sits down next to me and Anne does the same but across from us. Now that I'm seeing her up close and longer, I can see the similarities she and Harry share along with Gemma too. They're all very good looking and beautiful, it runs in the family by the looks of it

...

"The food was amazing Ms.- Anne." I correct myself. The whole hour of sitting there and eating wasn't as boring as I though it'd be. Anne and I went over a few things about Harry while Harry sat there and listened. They were minor things like his gestures and how nice he is if you get to know him. She did apologise about coming out rude in the past. Harry didn't talk much during the time we were at the table, Anne said it wasn't like him to be that quiet but she'd certainly like to get use to that. Apparently Harry always talks about me during dinner time with her when I'm not around, not that I ever am around. After Anne mentioned that I couldn't stop thinking about how Harry must talk about me when I'm not with him.

"It's getting late you should get some rest." Harry says. I'm too busy reading one of the books Liam recommended me to sleep.

"One more page." I beg.

"You've been saying that for the past hour. Keep saying one more page and you'll be done with the book by morning. We still have classes tomorrow you know, it's only Wednesday tomorrow. There's a lot of time to catch up on that book." He takes the book out of my hand and lays it on his his nightstand. "Come on." He pats his chest signalling me to lay down next to him. I sigh in defeat and lay my head on his chest, hearing every breath and heart beat of his. He lies the side of his head on top of mine and lay there, silent.

"Why is the book so interesting?" He finally speaks, breaking the silence.

"It's about this girl, Hazel Grace, and she has cancer. Her parents force her to join some kind of support group. Along the way she meets Augustus who is an amputee and well she falls for him. That's as far as I've gotten, no thanks to you."

"Let me guess, the girl dies at the end and the boy she fell in love with lives miserably because he's no longer with her in the end. Your typical tragic love story, just like Romeo and Juliet." I'm surprised he even knows about Romeo and Juliet, he's not the literature type. At least I think he isn't. But then again who doesn't know about Shakspeare's tragic love story.

"Wrong. I peaked at the end of the book and that's not how it ends. So think again. Not all love stories have to be tragic you know?"

"But that one is isn't it?"

"Yeah." I say under my breath.

"See. I don't believe in that kind of shit, it's all so dumb. Why would you fall in love with someone you know you won't have for the rest of your life? Am I right?" He's right. There is no point.

"True. In the end it'll just be time wasted on nothing." I try to take his side.

"Then again sometimes you can't help but fall in love. Not everyone can control their feelings." He says.

"Why do you say that?" I look up at him from his chest.

"Because it's true."

"What's true?"

"That you can't prevent falling for someone." He looks down at me with his locks of hair dangling from his for-head.

"Who did you fall for?" Curiosity getting the best of me. I'm sure he's fallen for many more people in the past.

"You and no one else." The smile on my face is unpreventable and the watering of my eyes is uncontrollable. The words making my heart swell.

He smiles down at me and pecks me on my lips. I then lay my head back down on his chest and before I know it I drift into sleep.

{Please vote and comment<3 So just to clear up rumors, no Louis DOES NOT have cancer. The only person in this book who does and will only have cancer is Niall's mum. So just going to clear that up before you guys start assumptions. Anyway thank you for reading and I want to welcome the new-new readers that have no caught up :) Oh and sorry for the short chapter, tomorrow's is going to be longer than usual since I'm skipping to Sunday in the story. Love you and have a good day/night <3}
